Dear Richa

Ayurvedically this condition can be considered as "vataja kasa".

I advice him to take "Sitophaladi churna" 5 grams twice daily 1 hr before lunch and before dinner mixed with ghee and 2 spoons of "Vasa kantakari leham" with milk morning on empty stomach.Continue till he get result.

I also strongly recommond to practice "Bhastrika" and "Anuloma viloma"Pranayama" regulary, to make lungs strong.

He is having tne dry

cough problem. What i could get from the doctors is that he is having

the lungs not so strong but the body is strong. when he feels hot during the summer and he takes bath, his body adapts

to that temp. change but the lungs get affected by cold. After that he

gets this dry cough problem.

I am Dr. Somit from Arya Vaidhya Chikitsalayam, Coimbatore. I agree

with Dr. Veugopalans diagnosis of Vatic Kasam . Seing the case of

your husband you can add Agasthya Rasayanam and Mreedwikadi lehyam

mixed together 1 Teaspoon at bed time followec with warm milk . This

priscription will strengthen the lungs as well as reduce the

episodes of fresh bouts.

Regards

Dr. Somit .
