varahi is a godess who can nullify the effects of black magic.varahi sannidhi is in two temples in tamilnadu.1)the famous brahadeeswara temple at tanjore has a varahi sannidhi.Here people first worship varahi and then worship brahadeeswara & brahannayagi.

2).Ahilanteswari at tiruvanaika temple is also known as varahi.Ahilanteswari is the commander of lilitha.she is also known as dhandini or dhandanatha.In this temple the devi often has dhandini alangaram(dresses like a army commander).
