Hi

 

need help / advise.

 

1) My sister is suffering from colitis from the past one and half

year, from the past 6 months we have started homepathy thinks have

improved very very very slightly. but the suffering is still

there.it is horrible sometimes .. while browsing i came across

recomeedation that wearing emerald cures colitis. i want to know

whether this gem will not have any adverse effect on my sisters

health, or please can anyone sugest something else.

 

 

2)we have be looking for a suitable match for her wedding for a long

time but have not found some one. of course the first point is main

now

 

i hope you can advise.

 

her details are

 

date of birth : 28 march 1977

time of birth : 4.40 am

place of birth : mumbai.

Dear Nitesh,

 

Mercury bhukti has seen the onset of your sister's bowel problem

(colitis) - understandable as Mercury is a significator for bowels.

As 8th house of chronic illness is Mercury's moolatrikona it would

NOT be appropriate for your sister to wear an emerald.

 

I would suggest your sister consult a reputable Vaidya and follow his

advice regarding proper food/diet to help with this condition. Diet

plays a big part in bowel conditions and this is evidenced (clearly)

in your sister's chart with Mercury debilitated in 2nd house

(partaking of food). Exalted 9th lord Venus in 2nd gives rise to

neecha-bhanga yoga and has the power to alleviate this condition of

Mercury...9th house governs medicines, remedies etc..

dear nitesh,

according to lagan patrika, i guess the reason for colits is lord of 6 th house

the Moon, which is located in 5th house ,the house of his enemy mercury.

further the lord of 5th house is mercury which is located as neech in second house.

2 nd house which denotes the food habits.

better give her two glass of water (warm) in night just before she goes for sleep,

if possible give her isabgol along with water. the same procedure may be repeated

in mornig also.

before taking water she may recite "om shran shrin shroun sah chandramase namh"

i hope every thing willbe all right in weeks time.

However can you tell me how Moon is associated with bowels (colitis)?

Colitis means inflamation and/or ulceration of the colon, i.e. large

intestine. Please bear in mind the significations of Moon in regards

to physiology (http://jyotishvidya.com/prikriti.htm)

 

Mercury, on the other hand IS a significator of bowels. As also is

8th (owned by Mercury) a significator for excretory organs:

Excretory = Organ which discharges waste products from the body.

 

Large intestine can also be seen from Libra and 7th house. Now look

at the conjunction in 2nd...8th lord Mercury, 7th lord Sun, and

dispositor of Rahu who occupies sign of Libra....

 

8th lord Mercury is dispositor of 6th lord Moon (house of disease

containing lagnesh Saturn). Consider also lagna lord (in 6th) as

dispositor of Mars, lord of Scorpio. Mars too is a significator of

dysentry (common to colitis sufferers) in accord with his own sign

Scorpio, a significator of excretory organs. Mars (significator of

inflammatory diseases) inimicaly placed in lagna, is aspecting

7th/8th houses. 7th/8th, as already said, signify large intestine and

excretory organs respectively...

 

With so many pointers to inflammatory bowel disease, how can one

recommend any particular mantra to ease the situation? I'm inclined

to suggest the navagraha stotram to balance all grahas. I have
