Hello, I'm new here. Looks like a nice friendly place.

I would like to see what everyone's opinion is on this.

( google "times of india mahabharata bobby bedi"

(i would post the link, but i have to have over 15 posts on this site to post a URL---sorry)

Pretty cool huh? (well i think so)

What is everyone elses opinion on this? Should this be made? If yes, how? what should be different? What should be in it?

Who should be in it?

Why should this be made?

I really think this movie is a good chance for everyone (by that I mean the global audience)to finally SEE, and UNDERSTAND this great piece of literature, and spirtual text.

thank you

I am also exicted about this movie! If it is done well it could have an international audience.

Movies like Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars are extremely popular around the world. In Hinduism, we have epics that are more real than those fantasy movies, but the international audience knows nothing about these awesome stories. So this movie might change this. :)

I hope it is not a musical. Americans do not watch musicals; there is no singing etc in modern Hollywood epics. They will watch subtitled movies if they are well done, like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. But subtitled and a lot of singing in the movie, would get less viewership.

they better keep it original, im not sure if they'll pull it off as good as BR Chopras Mahabharata, but with new technology and wireworks hopefully they can add somin new.

although in my opinion these bollywood people shouldnt be acting out such people of the Mahabharata. who will play Lord Krishna?
