Dear Shri Mishra,

 

The best modern translation of the Ashtadhyayi with detailed explanations of

derivations is by Professor Rama Nath Sharma: "The Astadhyayi of Panini" in six

volumes, published by Munshiram Manoharlal, Delhi.
