Chanting more than 16 rounds

Please accept my humble obeisances.

I would like to make a kind of follow up question to the chanting issue. It

is again regarding my discussion with that Jewish person.

The Jews are not allowed to even mention the name of God (That person even

writes G-d instead of God). And the reason is that we are so offensive in

this age that we are not qualified to, except in special prayers.

Now it sure makes sense in a way that we are very disqualified to take the

names of the Lord in our mouths. And they say that just uttering the name

of the Lord routinely or in daily talks is offensive.

But I never even considered this point before, since it was always natural

for us to chant as much as possible, and even if offenses are there it

seems like they can not really put us on the "minus side" where it would be

best not to chant at all.

But how do I prove that point?
