Prabhupada talks about two things. One is our accepting God ("And if *you* accept God as child, then *you* have to give everything.") and then Yashodamayi's "worshiping God as child". (Yasoda is *worshiping* God as child in the most perfect way.) You are right -- Yashodamayi does not have to *accept* Krishna as God, but she does supreme form of worship on much higher level. Just like everyone can be asked to try to sing, but your singing is of different class, so nobody will ask you "can you try to sing?" -- you are already perfect.
