Anyway, I will try to answer according to my understanding. Any planet will be stationary for few days when it changes from direct motion to retrograde and vice versa. This is called stationary condition or "Sthambana". Presumably, you might have come across a horoscope wherein it is mentioned that Kuja is sthambana. It means that kuja is stationary. In this move one opponent tries to immobilise the other person by holding all limbs i.e legs and hand such. So in short a Mars + Rahu combinations is a Wrestling in the sign. I try to differentiate, When Mars wins then the yoga Vijaya Yoga gives Chandi's Blessings. Shani vadh rahu, When Saturn gets beaten it resurfaces as Rahu. You really cannot beat the malefics. A Malefic person tries to beat the graha's and overcome them. It's inherent tendency in individual to beat Saturn with Mars. Mars with Rahu combination indicates the person has used violence to beat Saturn. Saturn indicates weak Old persons, It's dukha (sadness) to kaalapurusha. Mars used agression against saturn, which is now born as Rahu. Only way to get out of malefics is worship and not violence. When Mars wins by divine will and worship It's Vijaya Yoga. That's Chandi's Blessings.
