Dear Sarbani ji, Rao ji, and all

I was just going through the disucssion, and was really enlightened me

a lot. This ongoing discussion has made me raise this question to all

you members.

Actually I have a Dancing Ganesha Photo, in my bedroom as well as in

my Living room. Also a Pancha mukhi Photo Hanumam faces outside my

entry door. My mother who regulary performs pooja, also shows Dhoop to

the Ganesha and Hanuman Photos I mentioned, and all the photos are

garlanded on Tuesday's( Ganpati day ) and Saturday ( Hanuman's day ).

Here I am talking about photos which are not inside the Pooja room.

The question I want to ask is whether this practice is OK, because the

ongoing discussion has slighlty confused me.

I hope if somebody can help me in this matter.

Thanking You

Dear Buku,

Its perfectly ok. We all may or may not do that, but it is not worshipping. I

was trying to explain this difference to Swee, as she was not aware of this

practice so commonly performed by all of us in India.

Best regards,

Sarbani

Jaya Jagannatha

Dear Buku,

Namaste

Of course He has to be acknowledged in order you may receive some of his

blessings. Try and avoid offerings on Tuesdays. Instead, try it on Saturday

and see how much quicker you get his blessings :)

I was give some pictures too which should be acknowledged daily. The same

goes with your Guru's picture, to whom, you offer obeisance and then go

about your other offerings.

Love,

Swee

[vedic astrology] Re: Dancing Ganesha - ( A slight confusion - Pls

help )

Buku
