12 year and other cycles, planetary effect on orbital forcing

It is interestimg to know that 12 year cycle in human life is comparable to

hindu, chinese and western astrology. There have been african dought and

chinese flood cycles at several years periods. Not only the human, vegetation

(baboo flowering at 12 yrs) also affected with graha's movement and their

cyclic perturbations.

The astronomers have reported ultrafine cycles at couple of years to century

scale:- I qoute Prof. Mary Loutre & Andre Berger's (Climate Dynamics, 1992, 7,

181-194) work reportig ultra fine climatic cycles due to following grahas:

Notation are Mercury (Me), Venus (Ve), Moon (Mo), Earth (E), Mars (Ma),

Jupiter (Ju), Satrun (Sa).

Similar cycles are found in Carbon-14/Carbon-12 ratio in atmospheric CO2 which

is nothing but respiration index of biosphere, besides annually averaged

temperature from 1854-1988 (Jones et al, 1986).

They concluded that these cycles in climate are response of ultrafine chnges

in solor insolation due to gravitational pertuberation of solar sytem.

In astrology, we know Dhaiya (2.5 yr) and sadhe-sati (7.5 yr) of Shani, and

ardh-kumbah (6yr) purn-kumbha (12 yr) of Guru affecting life of humans through

ages. My contention to write to you all is that althugh our sages had never

such sophistication of modern astro-sciences, they not only decipher the effect

of grahas correctly, but also prescribed mitigation on evils of bad patches in

life.
