Guest guest
Dear Panditji Namaste, I had already congratulated you for arriving at correct date in my earlier mail. I was again going thro' your analysis as i felt some thing was missing there. your analysis given below [ I beleive it was may 9, 1997. I used standard vimshottari dasha. Although wife had dashas running venus- guru shukra -shani and both could have given marriage., However in 1998 and 1999 the husband was in rahu- budh dasha. I could not find any connection between budh and seventh house/lord. Shani being seventh lord from moon was abettwr candidate due to this so based on husband chart he may have married in may 1997. Both have shani aspecting seventh house , also for wife shani is with seventh lord. this affliction has given her husband with age difference of about 6 years. if I had only looked at wife's chart, I would have expected a bit of delay in marriage so would have predicted the later date. The husband's dasha of rahu-mercury at the two later dates can not bring relationship as budh has no connection with seventh house. I checked dwispati sama dasha and even there it is rahu -budh for the later dates. May 9, 1997. ] I have a question to ask you for my understanding here. you have not indicated that why you chose 9th may and not 26th jan as both are under Shani's Antara for husband. I have used almost the same technique as you but additionally Transit + TP. kindly elaborate on your selection of 9th may. regards utpal
Guest guest
Because most of the marriages happen in & around May in India. Guest guest
Dear Shri Uthpal Congratulations. We can expect an answer from Panditji. My two cents. Inspite of anyone claiming to be an expert, predicting dates of marriage etc consistently may not be an easy task. Thus one has to select between possibilities. Now in this case,as we know the possible dates we can easily justify. Panditji has given explanations.Additionally 7th lord is in the navamsha of Guru. If we check this amsha of Guru in rashi, we have Rahu and saturn placed there. Moreover saturn is aspecting 7th. Why may and not january. If we check transits on may 9th - Venus the seventh lord and Moon the ninth lord are in 7th house. Moon is not only the pratyantara lord but in rashi he is also associated with the navamsha dispositor of 7th lord, namely Guru. Thanks Pradeep vedic astrology, Panditji <navagraha@g...> wrote: > Namaste, > > I do not have kundalis here so I will look later and let you know why. > I looked at pratyantar dasha and also from desh kaal stithi, May is > season for weddings. Guest guest
Namaste Vijaydas, I am not sure whether the pratyantar was of chandra. I use 360 day civil year. But the poin you made is very ood, navansha dispositor is a tertiary factor that can give results.I use it as a tertiary factor, so if primary and secondary factors are favorably disposed then dasha of tertiary graha can precipitate the event as well. .... Guest guest
Namaste, Yes, it is rahu-shani-rahu dasha that started rahu is with seventh lord from moon. In jan 1997 it was rahu-shani-chandra. Chandra does have connection to seventh as it will always aspect seventh from moon, but that is a more tenuous connection than rahu connection. Rahu is also natural marriage giver. I would be interested to know what happened in rahu-shani-shukra dasha that ran in april to sept 1996. shukra is seveth lord , karaka and also aspects the seventh house. Need to chaeck transits at that time .... Guest guest
Namaste gentlemen, If somebody is interested in a strictly astrological reason for why Jan 1997 could not have given marriage though the same Vimsottari antardasa was running as in May 1997, based on Tithi Pravesha, please download lesson 42 from the link below. When we were attempting the puzzle based on annual TP charts, we did not find Jan 1997 interesting. When we saw the annual chart corresponding to May 1997 and the annual dasa/antardasa in May 1997, we did not need to consider the remaining two charts and we knew May 1997 was the answer. In the annual TP chart of May 1997, ruler of the year Venus and lagna lord Mercury had a raja yoga in the 7th house of marriage in rasi chart. In navamsa, Venus owned 7th and occupied 9th and upapada, while Mercury was in 7th from lagna and owned the 7th from Venus. Venus dasa Mercury antardasa as per the annual Tithi Ashtottari dasa was running from May 6 to May 17. It was a straight case with zero ambiguity. In fact, if this was not a puzzle and the person came to me in 1996 and asked me when he would get married, I would've predicted based on TP that he could get married in May 6-17, 1997 or Oct 19-30, 1997. In fact, there were many cases when predictions made based on TP came true with the precision of a week or two. I consider TP the simplest and yet most powerful technique I know and consider it Sanjay ji's greatest gift to the Jyotish community. Guest guest
||Om Brihaspataye Namah|| Dear Narasimha, Namaste. While I agree with the logic that you are trying to advocate in differentiating between the two dates, I would like to mention that Jeyaram has stated Jan 1997 was the date of betrothal. Thus there is a clear connection to marriage also. I would like to know why this (betrothal) was not seen when analysing the Jan 1997 date using TP? After all, marriage (traditional, arranged) is a mechanism that stretches from communication between two interested families, meeting of the candidates to betrothal finally culminating in marriage. You have correctly pointed out the relevance of 7th from Ve in 'meeting the partner' in another email. Could you please give some pointers on how to analyse betrothal and time it? regards Hari vedic astrology, "Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Dear Vijaydas & panditji, if you can see my analysis for husband, the Periods for 26th jan was Rahu/Sat/Ven - (Saturn looks at 7th and lord of 7th from moon & Venus as lord of 7th in lagna looks at 7th) Though it was a clear cut indication of Marriage Dasha wise and it also came ahead of 9th may, I could only reject that date on the basis of Transit and mainly due to TP Chart of 1996 & 97 and also the fact that Venus is 6th in D9. Hence purely technically speaking, it is very diffcult to choose from Antara & Partyantara. Even Desh-Kaal-Patra principle can misguide here becuase now a days Dec/Jan/Feb is also a very popular seasons of marriage in India. Hence in my opinion, TP is worth trying along with transit. I am saying this after applying TP to atleast 10 charts for indication of marriage. best regards, utpal pathak PS: As we may be using diff. calculations for Vim dasha, Pratyantar lord may be different. vedic astrology, "vijayadas_pradeep" <vijayadas_pradeep> wrote: > Namaste Panditji > > Thanks for the mail. > I beleive Chandrashekhar ji too uses 360 days.I have to try this. > Thanks for distinguishing between primary, secondary and tertiary factors. > > Regds > Pradeep > > vedic astrology, Panditji <navagraha@g...> wrote: > > Namaste Vijaydas, > > > > I am not sure whether the pratyantar was of chandra. Guest guest
Namaste Utpal, I do not think anyone here is saying that TP should not be used. There are fundamental differences in jyotish starting from the dasha year. I use 360 day civil year as it has given me the most consistent results ( I am not saying do not use 365, if it works for you consistently, use it) Now using 360 day year the dahsa was rahu-shani-rahu. You bring up an interesting dahsa period rahu-shani-shukra. For you it happened in 1997 Jan for me with 360 day calc it comes april or so of 1996. So I would like to know what happened during that time. If I had seen rahu-shani-shukra on Jan 97, I would have picked that date for sure. Imagine now for argument sake that budh is in 7 from moon ( for argument sake) now budh also qulifies. I question I ask is what would I have done then ? Now budh is a qulifier. I would still pick shani as I give a higher preference to the bhavesh ( In rashi alone) Yes there are many cases where the picture is not so clear and water is muddy even when using the few parameters and rashi chart alone. My contention is that if one uses too many techniques and parameters this will happen to you in every single kundali you look at. It will not happen as often if you limit your analysis to rashi chart alone and look to navansha only for amsha strength (I am with Vijaydas on this one, it is not stated in BPHS to use bhavas in divisions...let not open that box again). .... Guest guest
Namaste Panditji, As you wrote that what if Budh would have been in 7th from Moon?. in my opinion I still would have picked Saturn as Saturn is Very strong lord as It aspects 7th & 2nd and From moon Lagna it is the lord of 7th. There is nothing to comment on otherthings as there is complete freedom in Astrology to use whatever methods & options suits one if successfull implementation is achieved even to the extent of 60% thanks & regards, Utpal Pathak vedic astrology, Panditji <navagraha@g...> wrote: > Namaste Utpal, > > I do not think anyone here is saying that TP should not be used. Guest guest
Dear Shri Utpal One can use any technique.Progress happens with bringing down of or shortlisting of factors. Fast conclusions are bad.Shlokas and parameters from sage are time tested ones. How we decipher them from the charts is important. It will take many years to comprehend. There is no shortcut or magic formula.Houses in vargas is believed by many as a shortcut to arrive at correct conclusions,in a scientific, objective and easy manner. When sage has neither said nor can we explain our own theories, conclusions can be due to complementary factors.Caution and reverification of basics may prove helpful under such circumstances. Its purely ones choice and freedom and hence i cannot stress more.I have just done my part.Inertia leads to institutionalisation.
