The quake occurred at 11:09 p.m. local time (11:09 a.m. EST) at a depth of nearly 19 miles, the USGS (news - web sites) in Golden, Colo., said. The quake was centered 125 west-northwest of Sibolga, Sumatra, and 150 miles southwest of Medan, Sumatra, the agency said. Japan's Meteorological Agency said the quake registered 8.5. Look at Mahatma Gandhi's chart, he has Arudha lagna in Karka rasi, and surya is in kanya rasi in 3rd from Arudha lagna. He was assasinated in a garden(Virgo being the 3rd). Capricorn is a semi watery sign. Sarvartha Chinatamani says that. ANd the most important thing is that Tsunami alert has been withdrawn by many governments. All earthquakes dont cause Tsunamis. I am looking for sites or answers that predict these calamities at least to a confidence of 80% and above using astrology, ahead of time!! Any links or pointers? Everyone seem to give a comfortable description on why it happened and the astro-description after the effect. It would be truly beneificial to the mankind if such descriptions and forecast can be ahead in time. This may not save lives as people may not trust this, but when such predictions are felt true by people, slowly the trust develops, we would have alreday created a history. So, lemme know any links or forums that discuss these. I know how many rasis/horas/drekkanas are there. Mesha is the hot and barren lands, Makara is place near water, has forests as well as water. It is not completely water sign. Virgo apart from being gardens, also is a place of commercial establishments, libraries, and also unfertile. But i disagree on it being rocky. Mesha is more of rocky nature. Mithuna is also a dry land, but it is not a rocky land. Simha and dhanus are also barren, but they are not rocky. My source is Bhrigu Nadi. Let us agree to disagree. Both Merc and Venus are combust and Moon and Uranus are both of the same Degree. These facts probably change the Yogas and interpretation given for the Taurus Ascendant??
