The emerald should be of 4 carets ideally.By test period i

mean testing the gem for 10 days to check whether it is working or

not.Specially it is done for Blue Sapphire.People who are advised

Blue Sapphire check that gem whether that is suitable or not by

wearing them around their neck.If anything goes wrong,then its

unsuitable else suitable.Blue sapphire should be set on Silver and

emerald should be set in silver or gold,whichever is possible.
