Planetary war / Combustion with Sun debilitated

Yes, even if sun is debilitated, planets close to it can combust. In your case,

only the badhakadhipathy mars is combust, as for the others ven is not rendered

so weak and the close conjunction of sun+mer (less than 5 deg) is a special

buddha-adhitya yoga (making the person intelligent). In your case Mandi and

Gulika both are situated in the badhaka sthana with rahu, making mars a strong

badhakadhipathy, however since mars is combust, it's badhaka role will be

negated as well. Also, since moon and lagna join and venus is in the 10th from

there, you have a good neecha-bangha raja yoga operating to remove the

debiliation of sun. Also, vargottamma lagna helps a lot and lagna lord Saturn

being in the 6th and in pushakara navamsa makes the native someone who is

constantly learning and self improving. Notice how in Rasi, most of your

planets are situated in the Artha Trikona (trines from the 2nd house - 2, 6,

10) so likely you'r life will be centered around it.

I also noticed that Ketu is in Mrityu-bagha in the 5th, which is not so good. So

Ketu/Rahu periods can cause depressions (since it's trines from moon as well)

and can bring a lot of suffering.

Kind Regards,

Dear Jai,Thank you for your reply and detailed analysis. In Navamsa, venus isnot

as strong as in Rasi chart. It is placed in the 11th house alongwith Mars in

Mars house (Scorpio). I have always been interested in reading puranas,

religious principles/ values and philosophical books. But I don't consider

myselfspiritual yet. So I agree with your assesment that I will not become

aSanyas this life.If Sun is debilitated and weak, can it still combust other

planets inits combustion range ?Thanks

phenomenon, whichhas no bearing on the house placement. In practice besides

moon, ketuand Rahu every other graha can experience combustion regardless

ofwhich rasi the sun is placed in. Unlike other grahas, Venus is combustwhen it

becomes retrograde otherwise it tends to pass in front of theSun and is not

rendered as weak. Now what does combustion do? Itusually ends up making the sun

give results of the planet beingcombust and the combust planet looses its

vitality. Recently we had adiscussion on this group where Visti-ji and others

were discussinghaving more than 3 planets in Kendras. This would typically

causeParv-Rajya Yoga making one take up Sanyas. However, if any of theplanets

are combust the person will only have a desire to do that. Inyour case, see if

venus is placed strongly in navamsa as

well. In Rasilooks like it forms a malvya yoga (being in it's moolatrikona in

the10th). Venus is also causing a Neecha-bhanga> Raja yoga by being 10th from

the lagna in it's own house. Venus isalso raja-yogakaraka (being 5th and 10th

lord – Kendra and trikonalord). Venus+Mer in10 if it somehow associates with

Saturn, then itwill also form a raja-dharma karmadhipathy yoga. All in all, it

looksgood. Sun/Ven periods should be beneficial. > > > > Hope this helps.> > >

Hello Everyone,

I am new astrology and after reading this post I have concern with my horoscope in which I have Sun (15.24 degree) and Venus (17.05 degree) together in the 11th house (house of Saturn), besides this I have Saturn in 7th house (house of Sun) in retrograde position at 5 degrees i.e. Sun and Saturn are exchanged, please help me analyze my 11th house.

I would really appreciate your help.

Regards,

Ompuneet
