THere is no need to unduly be worried when snakes come in dreams, it

need not indicate a sarpa dosha in chart. I have sarpa dosha but

never saw a snake in my life, or in dream.

Snakes represent the desires, which are not fulfilled.

Dear Partha Namste

I dont know if snakes in the dreams indicate kalasarpa yoga or not

but I know you have much more life ahead of you! You can give a

chance to what vinay has said.

Any way talking of traditions at least in maharashtra there are

people who consider snake in dreams as inauspicious. It is believed

that if sankes are seen and you feel very dull then somebody has

done 'KARANI'(I dont know exact english word for it) on you.

NavaNagaStorta is very effective in such cases. Moreover, Ganapati

vrata on Sankashti(Vighnavinakya) must be observed. Reciting

AthrvaShrishsha 21 times daily helps a lot.

Dear All

>From my limited experience i can say the following.

Snakes coming in dreams possibly indicate Sarpa dosha.When the sarpa

dosha is severe one may not see snakes at all.One will face

difficulties.

When the sarpa dosha is light sarpas may come in dreams and indicate

us about a possible dosha.Also when one conducts poojas the sarpa may

come as well indicating the decrease in intensity.

When snakes comes in dreams of Pregnant ladies it indicates sarpa

dosha and results in miscarriage.

Sarpa dosha can be confirmed through a prashna chart.

Ramadas Ji may help us here.

On a different note.If my memory serves right, Homeopathy mentions a

drug Argentum Nitricum, whose symptoms are that the patient sees snakes

in dream and drops things held in hand frequently. Interesting is it not?

Dear Chandrashekharji

Yes it is quite interesting to note what medicines can do to a

person. Our entire body is full of consciousness with a memory, each

and every cell contains memory of millions of lives.

Once a accupuncture was performed on a lady, and she remembered 20

past lives, this is a fact. This happens, because we forget/suspend

our memories, and certain events, and "prickings" bring back our

memories in a flash.

Dear Partha,

I too have a Kala Sarpa but have never encountered snakes in dreams or in

real life, except for in zoos. This despite the fact that I once travelled

extensively in remote forests in India for my work. However a few months

back, while in the US, I had a dream of a white snake sitting poised and

looking at me. Sanjayji said this was auspicious and a sign of wealth. More

recently, while I have been doing a remedy for Kala Sarpa (note my age: I am

at that point where people say there is a chance of the Yoga breaking) I

would often get this terrible imagery of a huge black slimy snake springing

up at me and baring its angry fangs coming to swallow me with a huge open

mouth. Sometimes there were multiple snakes. This happened during the

initial days of my remedy as I would sit to do the required japa.

Fortunately I knew what this was about (Rahu putting up a last battle) I

managed to steel my mind and not let them bother me and eventually the

snakes disappeared.

Dear Partha!

Every time when I saw snakes in my dreams there were the unexpected

and unpleasant events and actions of peoples which could be said as

betraying. Snake could be said - hidden enemy and it is good when

the snake in the dream creeps away.

You are right. Many of the physical symptoms and psychic ones are inter

related and one has to go on learning through out one's life. This
