JAYA JAGANNATHA!

Dear Kasthuri Rangan,

Namaste.

I woudl be more cautious with the use of sahams. Some planets like the Moon

transit every point of the chart every month, so just by merely transitting

a saham related to the sign cancer in a chart it will not necessarily

activate it. A few hints form my experience with sahams

1. Sahams in the natal chart may get activated if they are transitted by a

close conjunction or trine of at least two concerned planets (i.e. house

lord and Karaka).

2. Natal sahams also get activated by the progression of the Sun over them

or in trines, if we take the Sun's progression with the yearly rate of the

concerned D-chart.

3. If a certain saham gets activated in a Tajaka yearly chart by conjunction

or a close trinal aspect then check the same in the natal chart and see what

is the transit situation over it. If there are less strong activationg

factors, it may still give some results.

Yours,
