I have query though the topic is not as complex as many other topics discussed in the group. I want to know how to analyse the navmansha kundli and making predictions based on that. Guest guest Report post Posted December 27, 2003 Om Gurave Namah Dear Devesh, Actually your question is very complex,as the Navamsha chart is so deep!!.the Navamsha is the division of the 9th house of dharma.Marriage and alot about the spouse is seen from this chart as marriage is part of our dharma too.As such the chart is used for various purposes.I briefly mention some below: 1.Marriage and the spouse are seen from this chart.The seventh and the second house give the qualities of the respective spouses and so on.This means, to see the first spouse one looks at the seventh house in the Navamsha chart and also the trines to it.To see the second spouse one sees the second house and trines to that.This is so because the second house is the eighth to the seventh house,eighth house is seen for longevity or death.Hence eighth from each will show the various relationships the native has.As we count,the placement of Ketu will obstruct further relationships. 2.The Navamsha chart is also used to reckon the various dieties, like the Dharma devta.Ishta devta etc.Great importance has been given to the placement of the Atma karak in this chart.The house where the Atma Karak is placed is referred to as the Karak amsha. 3.The navamsha being the division of the ninth house also guides one to ones dharma.It can be used to see what one is supposed to do or rather what one will be destined to do.So it becomes usefull in seeing the destined fruit in a natives life.Therefore,Its important to confirm from this chart when we see raaj yogas and a few other yogas in the rashi chart wether the person will actually get the results of the yoga present or not and to what degree. 4.The first house of the Navamsha chart is called Lagna amsha.This shows the inherent nature and abilitesof the naitve them selves. 5.The Seventh house in the Navamsha chart also shows the sexual desires,details or preffrences of the native. Like this the Navamsha chart can show alot of other things too.Try to read alot more before you can sit down to predict from this chart.It should be used with alot of wisdom and once you have learnt it well it can be used for several things in prediction.You can read alot on the list and on the internet too on this topic. I must appreciate the way you explain things, which makes things look easier.
