Debiliated Jupiter in LAGNA.-dear sarajit

Dear Partha,

So this should work with all the house lord's placement in the Lagna

Bhava. If the lagna lord is weak, then the planets placed in Lagna

behaves like Saturn and if it is weak and like Sun when the lagna lord

is strong.

However, what is the basis for that?

your question. But if i remember right, he has written an article few months

back regarding yogas and placements on the same topic.,For example

venus-mercury combo is not so good for marital bliss, as venus is natural 7th

lord and mercury the natural 6th.similarly mercury in lagna is like 6th lord in

lagna and vice versa. he is forever entering into debates :-))similarly saturn

in lagna is like 10th lord in lagna, hardworking etcI presume you must be

knowing all these as you are very experienced.just my little

Here I am..

There are a few very basic principles, each one should know:

This is the subject of my two books, I am preparing for the January conference...

FIRST PRINCIPLE:

Natural Zodiac-Kal Purush:

Have this in mind always. Sage Bhrigu, speaks of very special

Yogas, arising of Natural Kal Purush, such as

3rd lord in Lagna yuti Mangal-promotes 3rd house affairs. 4th

lord in yuti Chandra (natural ruler) promotes 4th house affiars etc..

What one can infer from this? Let's analyse lagnesh placed in

5th house;

" The person would be intelligent, of short temper, successfull in life,

favourite of the government or kings, will have few children etc. You may

infer that a person would get all the karakatwas of Sun as 5th lord in natural

zodiac

SECOND PRINCIPLE

Bava and Marana Karakas

These are the following:

1. Lagna-Surya

2.house-Guru

3.house-Mangal

4.house-Chandra

5.house-Guru

6.House-Mangal

7.house-Shukra

8.house-Shani

9.house-Guru

10.house-Budh

11.house-Guru

12.house-Shani

This is according to Parashara, there are other partial karakas according

to other texts

Marana Karakas are known... For example, If Lagnesh goes to 8th house, there

will be hardships, poverty, obstacles, chronic illness, legacy and painful

transformations due to received Karaka infleuences of Shani. Since Chandra

is Marana Karak in 8th, a person may be too sensitive, lacking in longevity

or life force, will have troubles in the family life, and lack peace, etc.

THIRD PRINCIPLE

Natural Ucha or Neecha Places; For example if Lagna lord goes to 7th house,

a person may be dedicated, discplined, may live abroad,

deep, sober and wise in later years due to exalted infleunce of Shani. He

may prosper in foreing lands and in contact with foreigners, He will go to

far places and drift about due to Vayu Tatwa of exalted Shani. Since surya

is neecha in 7th house of Natural Zodiac, a person may lack in self will,

individuality, may have weak health, may not enjoy the morning time or sunny

areas, may have weak integrity, be burnt with desires and will lack character

strength, power and charisma. A relation ship with father may be distant

or disturbed, depending on the position of the Surya and 9th lord.

These are the basic principles, which may help us understand the results

given by sages in jyotisha texts..

[sP] 1. Whenever a house lord is placed in another house, the lord

shall act like the karaka of the house. Thus when Sun is placed in he

5th house, the native shall be billious, short tempered, intelligent,

have few children etc. are all the effects of Sun's placement in the

5th house.

2. Whenever the lord of a house is placed with the karaka, they promote

the house under consideration. Here the Karaka is given importance and

not the natural lords. In some cases they are the same such as 4th and
