Planets in Rasi Sandhi - Pushkara Navamsa

Dear Members,

This info is for those who don't know what Pushkara Navamsa means.

Mr. Jai Balagopal had stated that planets in Rasi Sandhi usually do

not give bad effects if they are in their respective Pushkara

Navamsas. After much on the table given below (taken from a web-site

as given by Jyotishi Mr. Gamini Dassanayake) and working out on some

example charts he had used for weekly sun-sign predictions, I have

figured out what this mysterious Pushkara Navamsa means.

To find out:

1. Check where in Rasi a particular planet is placed.

2. For that Rasi, there are 2 auspicious degrees in the navamsa, one

in the same sign as the rasi and other in a different sign (a sign

owned by one of the natural benefics Jupiter, Venus, Moon or Mercury).

3. Example: If Mars is in Gemini in Rasi, then if the Mars get placed

in either 6th Pisces 16*40'-20*00' or the 8th Taurus 23*20'-26*40',

then it is auspiciously placed in its Pushkara Navamsa.

4. The degree of the planet is to be applied as such, ie, if Mars at

18 degrees in Gemini, then if Mars is in Pisces in Navamsa, then it

is at its Pushkara Navamsa at the 6th sub-set of the 9 3*20

divisions, or the 18th degree Pisces of the Pushkara Navamsa degrees

for Gemini Rasi/Pisces Navamsa within the auspicious Pushkara range

of 16*40' to 20*40'.

Question:

---------

****Is the pushkara Navamsa placement valid for nodes?****

I hope this helps some and welcome corrections.

With best regards,
