Guest guest
Respected Guruji, I am very sorry to read about your only brother.Death is a terrible thing to happen. But can it be brought about by the mere Rasi Sandhi of the 3rd Lord? There should be some other overwhelming factors that point to this tragedy without affecting the other matters related to the third house?I am only a beginer. So I am thinking why the 9th Lord with Neecha Bhanga in the 3rd house did not save your brother?I hope I am not trying your patience or rekindling the pain of this tragedy? Guest guest
Respected Gurujis, In the light of the discussion we are having here about planets in Rasi Sandhi,Gandantha and Vargotham,I am giving below the birth details of a person with 3 planets in Rasi Sandhi with one of them in Gandantha and Vargotham. DOB 28th April 1971 TOB 6.14 PM POB Tiruvella,Kerala 76E39 9N23 2 years after his birth,a brother was born to him who died within 2.5 years. With my limited knowledge I could not find the connection with the planets in Rasi Sandhi and ths sad event.Did they bring about this or if not what will be the effects of these 3 planets on the life of this person? Guest guest
Dear Guruji Shri Ramadas Rao, Please pardon my intrusion here, if u deem this question being inappropriate, but I have one thought that I would like to mention with regards to your loss of your younger brother... Also very sorry to hear about your loss. In your chart, since Mercury happens to be the Bhrartu Karak BK being placed in 3rd house, doesn't it cause Karako bhava nashya, especially since the BK is conjoining functional malefic lord of 3 and 12 Jupiter and 8th lord Sun, also aspected by ® Saturn (though lagnesh). Since he (Jupiter) is vargottama and as 3rd lord in 3, he should give good results with respect to all other signification of 3rd house such as efforts, communications, courage, especially since he is conjoining Mercury the 9th lord? Since I was very interested, I took a look at Dwadasamsa and saw that there Mercury the BK is again the 3rd lord placed in Capricorn 7 from lagna, while Saturn ® who is lord of 7 and 8 placed in Aries and aspects Mercury with his 10th aspect... Doesn't this suggest that Mercury along with conjoining Sun and aspected by Saturn (in Rasi) gives this poor result with respect to younger sibling but for other significations of the 3rd house, Jupiter indeed gives very good results? Also, since I'm learning Jyotish, I also try with different ayanamshas and according to Raman, Mercury also undergoes neech-banga due Venus's placement in Kendra to Moon? (Moon in Aquarius)...Doesn't this strengthen Mercury's ability to cause Karako bhava nashaya due to cancellation of debility? Kindly consider these as those being presented for your view as a learner. Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Jayashree, I agree with your explanation. But you see my explanation in my previous mail.Budha is not natural BK and he is only Chara BK and I dont think being Chara BK,he will not do such a big evil to lose my younger brother. But he may do harm about the health of younger co-born and that he did also. This sad incident happened in Guru Dasa and Shukra's Antara.Shukra is Chara GK and according to me this is the reason for my brother's death. Also both are in 2-12 to each other. Also in D-3 chart,3rd house is occupied by Mandi and 3rd house is hemmed between Kuja and Ketu and aspected by Shani (V) from his own house. Also Budha and Kuja does a parivartana and so Kuja comes to Vrischika rasi and eventhough Guru is there aspecting my 3rd house,Kuja, the Badhaka for my Rasi chart and 7th and 12th lord for D-3 chart is with Guru and as a result of this Guru's aspect also did not help my brother to survive. Guest guest
Dear Ramadas ji I think one becomes more stronger after sad happenings in life.Or one gets more used to the situation.I dont know which is true. May God bless you with all good health. But the fact is everyone is experiencing pain in oneway or the other and as the old saying goes one feels relieved after comparing ones own problem with those of others. I have seen from the chart of close relatives that, marana karaka sthana planets giving difficulties (tough ones) to those matters of the houses, where it is placed. Does a Planet in Rasi sandhi always bring trouble to the houses. Are there any exceptions.I have found from the ongoing explanations that even benefics like jupiter were unable to protect. Can we say planets in Khanda-Anta(as chandrashekarji has explained)are the superlative forms of Rashi Sandhi and hence would be harmful? with respect and thanks Pradeep vedic astrology, Ramadas Rao <ramadasrao> wrote: > > ` nmae naray[ay, > om namo näräyaëäya| > Dear Sudharsan Ji, > the Marana Karaka Sthana of Guru gave me a another gift and that is diabetes.I am suffering from this disease from the age of 31 and the doctors after several diagnosis confirmed that my pancreas is not working at all.Now I am 52 and I am living with this disease by controlling my body sugar by various means. Guest guest
Satyam Bruyat Priyam Bruyat Dear Shri Ramdasji, With due respect I wish to share a point that I read in COVA about impact of dictum 'Karka Bhava Nasa' on Naisargika karkas and Chara Karkas. I am sharing this only because of discussion regarding the applicability of dictum w.r.t various types of karkas. The point in no way contradicts effects of planets in Rasi Sandhi explained by you. Page 376 point 12.11 says that "dictum.......does not always apply to natural significators in the houses signified by them. For Sun is not bad in the ninth house nor is Jupiter bad in the second or ninth nor is Saturn bad in eight house." The chapter gives more examples like Venus in 7th etc. Further down it goes on to show that in cases of Chara Karkas however, the dictum works. Though planet being in Rasi Sandhi may have been an important element in the sad incident of loss of your brother, I also feel that dictum even if valid for chara karkas may not do so much harm as to take the life of co-born. Since he (Jupiter) is vargottama and as 3rd lord in 3, he should give good results with respect to all other signification of 3rd house such as efforts, communications, courage, especially since he is conjoining Mercury the 9th lord?Since I was very interested, I took a look at Dwadasamsa and saw that there Mercury the BK is again the 3rd lord placed in Capricorn 7 from lagna, while Saturn ® who is lord of 7 and 8 placed in Aries and aspects Mercury with his 10th aspect... Guest guest
OM NAMO SHIVAY Dear Members and Shri RamaRao ji Just read few emails (after 10 days) on this topic. While I agree with Shree RamaRao ji that BK/3rd Lord in Rashi Sandhi and 3rd house/3rdLord/BK being afflicted by malefics caused the death of his younger brother(Rama Rao ji,Please accept my deep sympathies and good wishes for the soul), yet I think that the charts(rashi and divisional) of any person (under consideration) are the final controller's of one's life. Our charts can influence our relatives only to some extent and we are not the controllers of their destinies. Just four days ago one of my very good Uncles passed away. He was so enthusiastic and strong throughout his life, yet fell to Cancer(which was also controlled temporarily to large extent). In the end he did not wish to live hooked to Glucose and life saving medications (for almost two months) and wished to leave peacefully. He told my cousin brother(his son) that he is being held up unnecessarily for so long as four men in white clothes have already come to his house to take him away and he could see them clearly. His son told him that they are doctors but he corrected him several times by saying that these four are separate from them and waiting in another room but held up due to all the medications etc., to save him. Similarly my mother's mother(maternal grandmother) passed away few months ago and prayed to Lord Vishnu to relieve her of all pains (she was in hospital due to a broken hip bone at 84) and in the end they both left peacefully. So while we all are in MRITYU_LOKA and fear death, yet when the final moment comes , most people(if not all) come to terms with reality and desire to leave away peacefully. From a living man's perspective, its hard to give away all your materialism, loved ones, relatives and this earth so easily, yet from a dying person's perspective, its time to leave the world and start another journey (while the living persons who are trying to save the patient are puzzled and try desperately to save him/her, yet the soul desires to continue on its journey and gives some final thoughts in mysterious surprise manner; Similarly my own paternal grandfather died on Deepawali night in Nov2001 very peacefully at 91; he did not even want to go to any hospital and knew that he will pass away in the night and told his son (my father) to sleep peacefully and that he will be gone during the night. He said so and went away few hours later in the sleep; From the Punya chakra(learnt at west coast conference) drawn, I learnt he has left for the heavens. ) (humorously speaking in the end we all are tired of materialism related problems, unemployment/employment related problems, diseases, terrorism, wars, children's tensions, spouse's problems etc., etc and wish to leave peacefully on our own mysterious journeys and leave this world's woes to those we leave behind, in the same chaotic state in which we came to this world ourselves. We came with empty hands and leave with empty hands, but get involved in never-ending deep materialism throughout our lives due to the tremendous influence of KAAL DEVATA, who is supposed to be the real father of Lord SHIVA and whom even Lord Shiva is searching continuously.) I thought to share all this , just to provide some comfort and confidence to all, who are still living. Sorry for the long email, which is not astrologically relevant. Thanks and Regards. Guest guest
Dear Guruji Ramadas Rao, Again very sorry to have been discussing over this loss with you, even though seeking astrological explanations. As you said, it really does look clear after looking at D-3 that 3rd house between Mars and ketu, aspected by Retro Saturn, badhak for Taurus, and Venus the Gnati Karaka conjoining Mars in parivarthan for Mercury all seem to be the reason, and that since Jupiter was in Rasi Sandhi, he was not able to protect or act against these malefic happenings... Or is it that Jupiter once again became the 8th lord in D-3 and also a functional malefic for Capricorn (rasi) that he participated in the loss rather than protect against it? Anyways, due to parivarthana as you had stated, Mars the natural significator for younger co-borns as well as the lord of A-3 in D-3 is conjoining Venus, the Gnathi-Karaka as well that lord of 6th house and A8, and Jupiter rules 8th house in D-3 aspecting 3rd house, so Jupiter/Venus explains very much for causing this great loss. Thanks for the explanation and once again, very sorry for your loss. Wishing you my best regards, Jayashree vedic astrology, Ramadas Rao <ramadasrao> wrote: > > ` nmae naray[ay, > om namo näräyaëäya| > Dear Jayashree, > I agree with your explanation. But you see my explanation in my previous mail.Budha is not natural BK and he is only Chara BK and I dont think being Chara BK,he will not do such a big evil to lose my younger brother. But he may do harm about the health of younger co- born and that he did also. > I hope this helps you. > With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, > Ramadas Rao. > Jayashree <jayashree_ravi@m...> wrote: > Dear Guruji Shri Ramadas Rao, > > Please pardon my intrusion here, if u deem this question being > inappropriate, but I have one thought that I would like to mention > with regards to your loss of your younger brother... Guest guest
Dear Guruji Shri Ramadas Rao, I read RMK ji's post. As he says our charts may be indicating our loss, but certainly it is not the cause of any great loss to anyone other than ourselves... Since I was trying to understand the astrological significations of your chart from a cause and effect perspective, I also want to add this since I think your feelings for your brother really show your depth of affections for him.. Guest guest
||Om Brihaspataye Namah|| Dear Rajesh, Good of you to share your thoughts. About a day or two after my father died, I awoke from deep dreamless sleep in the middle of the night to find a bright, luminous band of light hovering above me which faded away in 2~3 seconds. Even granting that I was sleeping or my brain may not have been working properly, I got the feeling that my father's soul had come to take one last look at me and that event started me seriously on the road to learning more about life's mysteries. I have a request for you: could you please share your learning of the punya chakra, taking your grandfather as an example? I would love to extend the same principles to my fathers case just to understand more. regards Hari vedic astrology, "Rajesh Mohan Kumaria" <rajeshkumaria2000> wrote: > OM NAMO SHIVAY > Dear Members and Shri RamaRao ji > > Just read few emails (after 10 days) on this topic. Guest guest
Dear Ramdasji, If you permit, would not lord of 2nd Saturn aspecting 6th be the cause of the decease? Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Rajesh Mohan Ji, Thanks for this article.I agree with you that for final readings we have to look at the chart of diseased and if we get the Punya Chakra ie., chart of one's death timing, then it will become little easy to interpret some informations. Respected Sanjay Ji was explaining to me about my Father's Punya Chakra about 4 months before and I am trying to learn about it. With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana, Ramadas Rao. He said so and went away few hours later in the sleep; From the Punya chakra(learnt at west coast conference) drawn, I learnt he has left for the heavens. )(humorously speaking in the end we all are tired of materialism related problems, unemployment/employment related problems, diseases, terrorism, wars, children's tensions, spouse's problems etc., etc and wish to leave peacefully on our own mysterious journeys and leave this world's woes to those we leave behind, in the same chaotic state in which we came to this world ourselves. We came with empty hands and leave with empty hands, but get involved in never-ending deep materialism throughout our lives due to the tremendous influence of KAAL DEVATA, who is supposed to be the real father of Lord SHIVA and whom even Lord Shiva is searching continuously.)I thought to share all this , just to provide some comfort and confidence to all, who are still living. Thanks for the explanation and once again, very sorry for your loss.Wishing you my best regards,Jayashreevedic astrology, Ramadas Rao <ramadasrao> wrote:> > ` nmae naray[ay,> om namo näräyaëäya|> Dear Jayashree,> I agree with your explanation. Also Budha and Kuja does a parivartana and so Kuja comes to Vrischika rasi and eventhough Guru is there aspecting my 3rd house,Kuja, the Badhaka for my Rasi chart and 7th and 12th lord for D-3 chart is with Guru and as a result of this Guru's aspect also did not help my brother to survive.> I hope this helps you.> With Sri Hari Vaayu Naama Smarana,> Ramadas Rao.> Jayashree <jayashree_ravi@m...> wrote:> Dear Guruji Shri Ramadas Rao,> > Please pardon my intrusion here, if u deem this question being > inappropriate, but I have one thought that I would like to mention > with regards to your loss of your younger brother... Guest guest
in my chart No planets are in Gandanta, an error crept into my last mail! Saturn, Mercury etc are all in Rasi Sandhi regards viswanadham H S Viswanadham <vishwanatham (AT) rocketmail (DOT) com> wrote: Hare Rama Krishna Dear RamadasJi, Sudarshan & others, Thanks for your comments, as ever backed by real life experiences. >From the West Coast conference- 2002 CD it is clear that Rasi Sandhi is the one Navamsa on either side of Rasi cusp. Is your understanding also the same or you prefer to define it differently. If it is 'Navamsa', then a vargottama Jupiter in both its signs is bad for those two Houses. In my own experience,.... i hesitate to say this because last time i wrote on the list that my Father is happily married for over 50 years, within a fortnight my Mother expired. I have Jupiter, Saturn,(In Sagittarius), Mercury in Aq & Ven in Pis are all in Rasi Sandhi (Scorpio- Lagna) if we consider 3.2'. If we take last 1 degree, as some advocate, then Saturn & Mercury are in Gandanta. In any case, i have not experienced any premature deaths in my family. My Mother died at the age of 62 (though we would love to have her for some more time). Now i write this with a prayer to God to give them all a very long life. In case of Curses, i understand that Vargottama is not good, in the sense that the curse is backed by the force of Dharma and therefore is infallible - one has to experince it. Is it not that generally Vargottama indicates a dharmic connection from past life. How to understand Vargottama, if it has to be always negative. One should not have Vargottama planets if He\She had done something nice in the past life! I hope you understand my confusion, i am stuck here and love to be enlightened. Guest guest
Dear Ramadas ji, Actually it is me who is thanking you for the explanations and I was reiterating your points so as to remember better later. Me too, having either Mercury (or) Venus in rasi sandhi (Mercury if it is Raman Ayanamsha or Venus if it is Lahiri Ayanamsha), so in a way, I was looking for supporting factors to a major loss in the divisionals, besides the planet being in rasi sandhi alone. Guest guest
Dear Guruji Shri Ramadas Rao, In continuation with my previous mail, I checked my own divisionals to try to figure out if it is my Mercury who is in Rasi sandhi or my Venus who is in Rasi Sandhi. My contention is that a planet in rasi sandhi gives bad results (ie more malefic if functional malefic or lack of protection if functional benefic), when there are supporting factors to such bad results as stated at a higher level at Rasi and in detail in the respective divisional. I have stated earlier at this list that though I consider my father to be a nice man, still he was not attached to the family and hence I never felt his love (so far).. In rasi, I have debilitated Sun conjoining Atmakarak Mercury in 9th house (where Mercury is the functional malefic 8th lord). So in order to verify my view that it is actually Mercury in rasi Sandhi being placed in my 9th house that gives bad results with respect to father's love, I checked my Dwadasamsa chart. Here, I do see Mercury's affliction, in case of both Raman and Lahiri Ayanamsa. In Lahiri, exalted atmakarak Mercury is conjoining ® Saturn aspected by 12th lord Sun conjoining 8th lord Mars from badhak house of 7. In Raman, exalted atmakarak Mercury in lagna is aspected by 8th lord Mars from badhak house, and Sun the 12th lord is in 8 aspected by Saturn ® from 2, and Saturn ® the 6th lord is placed in 2nd house of childhood which constitutes to the loss of fatherly love in childhood... But I don't see any afflictions to Venus in the Dwadasamsa chart, where he is lord of 2 and 9 placed in 3 (Scorpio) and aspected by and aspecting lord of 4 and 7 Jupiter in 9. Since I was trying to find supporting factors to ill-effects of rasi sandhi in divisionals, I'm now of the view that it is indeed Mercury who is in Rasi-Sandhi in my chart (ie according to Raman Ayanamsa), as I see support to this view from my Dwadasamsa. Otherwise I should see afflictions to Venus in Dwadasamsa in D-12, as Venus rules both the paternal houses of 4 and 9 and thus deals directly with my Dwadasamsa, and I don't see any afflictions to Venus in my Dwadasamsa. Maybe I'm incorrect in many of my views as stated above, but I'm just thinking out loud. With best regards, Jayashree vedic astrology, "Jayashree" <jayashree_ravi@m...> wrote: > Dear Ramadas ji, > > Actually it is me who is thanking you for the explanations and I > was reiterating your points so as to remember better later. Guest guest
om namo näräyaëäya|Dear Vishwanadham, I understood your point.Guru in Meena Rasi vargothama has done also good to me in giving this Jyotish Knowledge. But dont forget Guru is also in Revathi Nakshatra ruled by 6th and 9th lord Budha aspected by Shani (V) and hence chronic disease. I hope this helps you.
