So how can this be considered fortunate. For rahu/ketu to act as good agents, they must have some relationship with yoga karka graha in kendra/trikona. As far as I think I am, I'm quite polite (infact people in general have told me this) and soft-spoken, though informally (ie at home), I'm quite free to express my anger which comes down in a gush and leaves in a second. These don't seem to be the qualities of a person having Mars in 3rd and Saturn ® in 6th from AL? (I should rather be aggressive and cunning?) Or am I missing any other interfaces that should be checked besides the 3rd and 6th from AL? (such as A2). The question is so since 2nd house rules speech, maybe A2 is perceived speech? Or the additional factors I'm missing maybe to check the states of the lords of 3rd and 6th from AL? In my case, 3rd lord to AL is Saturn ® placed 6th from AL in Taurus and lord of 6th from AL is Venus placed 12th from AL? I am running Rahu mahadasa currently, and I can vouch for the fact that Rahu mahadasa so far has proved marvellous for me (touch wood!)while at the same time making me more spiritual. But if he is getting additional aspect or association of other planets the effect changes. Planets reckoned from AL (i.e. PADA) reveals perception of manifestations. For example Rahu in 12th from LAGNA generally gives heavy and/or unexpected expenditure, homage in foreign (or other's) land and sleeplesness. But the very planet in 12th from AL shows the native is perceived as one who can't save, and one who usually sleep late in night or dont have sound sleep. This also suggest he *wants* to be perceived [due to graha drishti on lagna] as an actor/performer or like one who gets fame by doing something different. Parasara discussed 12th from AL in his BPHS Chapter 29: 16-17. PADA AND FINANCIAL LOSSES If the 12th from Lagna Pada is aspected by conjunct both benefics and malefics, there will be abundant earnings but plenty of expenses. The benefic will cause through fair means, malefic through unfair means and mixed planets through both fair and unfair means. 18. If the 12th from Lagna Pada is conjunct the Sun, Venus and Rahu, there will be loss of wealth through the king. The Moon aspecting (the said trio in the said house) will specifically cause more such losses. 19. If Mercury is in the 12th from the Lagna Pada and be with or aspected by benefic similarly there will be expenses through paternal relatives. A malefic so related to the said Mercury will cause loss of wealth through disputes. 20. O Brahmin, if Jupiter is in the 12th from Lagna Pada, aspected by others, the expenses will be through taxes and on one's own. 21. O Brahmins, if Saturn is in the 12th from the Lagna Pada along with Mars and is aspected by others, the expenses will be through one's coborn. 22. But I really get confused when the planets Rahu and ketu are to be analysed in chart. I have Ketu in 6th from my AL. Ketu is Malefic and this single planet is sitting in 6th house from AL. I will be running Jup- Ketu from Nov 2003 till Oct 2004. Ketu is in my 10th house from lagna while 7th to my Mahadasha lord Jup. If Ketu is planet for spirituality... Then Will i be inclined to spirituality or Ketu is in 10th will make me work very hard without expectations... But Jup is also 12th to AL and Jup is in own house Saggi with Rahu. But Lagna lord is (I am Virgo Lagna) and is 11th to AL. My AL falls is 5th house in capri with Moon there As far as Rahu in 12th and spirituality is concerned.. I consider myself less spiritual. I help people, DO good deeds, Be good to people, never try to hurt anyone but in terms of reading spiritual text/ reciting Spiritual mantra, I somehow donot do that much. I have faith in God but also have faith in Karma Concept. Without Karma nothing is there in life. One has to karma of his life. I beleive strongly in that. Since being an human being , I do suffer with disappointments I have some materialistic side of me and I yes I also do have wish for growth in materialistic sense. may be thats because I have Guruchandal Yoga in 4th house and 12th house to AL. Infact when I was 24 I also got many comforts even from job. During my Jup-JUp I had a chance of International Travel, visted 2 countries, stayed in 5 start hotel for a business visit from Company in such a early age also got good recognition. And really I agree with your explanation. Yes I do have a feeling in my mind I donot need anything... I am ok if I donot get any comforts or Materialistic things...a feeling of rejecting everything is yes residing in me... Also, coincidentally, Jupiter who is transiting my 9th house will move to Virgo (my 10H with neechabhanga Venus) next year, so in all respects, next couple of years promise to be interesting. My drig dasa is also about to commence and here I have been drawn to Tirupati, to reside right at the feet of the Lord. Seems like some deeper design is at work! Let's wait and watch and whatever is likely to unfold is the will of the Lord. Li'l Shane is definitely disturbed by the developments but was grinning happily at receiving a letter from his fav australian uncle. BTW, when are u coming to Tirupati?
