Dear 'SUN'deep,

Nice question that takes one to the roots of astrological symbolism

and the workings of the grahas in daily life. Interestingly your post

also has the answer!!!???

Dear Sundeep,

Your question brings to fore another related question. What if 'Ishta Deva'

planet (which is 12th to your Atmakarak in Navansh chart) is your Amatyakarak?

Amatyakarak is your chief advisor, minister will it guide you on right

spiritual path without outside assistance?

I have found someone having ascendant of your 9th house sign will come in your

life whenever it is rise time of your luck, fortune. Association with such

persons is fruitful and association with 3rd house (7th from 9th) sign

ascendant person is full of misfortunes.

Best Wishes

Shiv Chadha

[vedic astrology] Question regarding one's approach to spirituality

Since (worship of, devotion to) a person's Ishta Devata guides him/her to final

emancipation, would it be fair to say that if you follow the

philosophy/teachings of an enlightened/highly spiritual person whose Atmakaraka

is the same as your Ishta Devata, then this would quickly move you in the right

spiritual direction?I hope the point behind the question is clear. There are so

many spiritual teachers and paths to enlightenment these days. Can the above be

used as one criterion to isolate those who may be beneficial to you, and those

that might not?Of course, I know a lot of you will say - hey, why not just

worship the Ishta Devata directly and you will find the right teacher - but

some of us have grown up without direct personal attachment to specific

deities. To such people, the symbolism of the Ishta Devata deity may need to be

found in things more meaningful or closer to one's life, which may be offered by

specific spiritual teachers.Thanks in advance,SundeepArchives:

Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Sundeep,

This one will work much better for most people:

Find the planet indicating your Istha Devata, and see which of the Chara Karakas

it represents. Associate with that person(in boy or in mind) and it will lead

you to your Istha Devata.
