I dont know the basics taught here because I am yet to get initiated into the Jagannatha institute. >From My knowledge I say =) Our saints in the past are mirrors of the "truth". Each Mirror has its own colour,frame, shine, size,shape but it reflects only the TRUTH. This truth is undescibable so we end up arguing about the size, colour, frame of the mirror. Sit calmly for a moment and dont worry about anything in life and there is happiness. because when we dont worry about anything in the world we live in the present. Make this practise more strong and strong then there is more happiness coming. We cant argue about Theories - there are different schools of philosophies - Naya school, Visheshika school, sankhya school, yoga school, vedanta school, mimamsa school, etc .. give them a chance and they will argue all through their life about their rules and ways . But there is only 1 truth. But as far as Jyotisha is concerned - There have to prescribed rules. And I am waiting for my Gurudev to teach me that.
