Guest guest
Dear Visti It's been awhile after the last year's incident, I started visiting the site. It took awhile to recover from my mothers demise. Thanks to all gurus for providing the support during the last stages of her life. By god's blessing she did not feel pain and she did not know what is happening to her. Anyway, I have question regarding the Ruchaka yoga. I believe that Mars either in exaltation or own or Moolatrikona sign in a kendra should give the Ruchaka yoga. What happens if he is an AK and being with Rahu? Does being in 7th in Exaltation is different? For example, Karkata being the Ascendent and Mars & Rahu in Makara. Makara is being his Exaltation sign and being kendra should give Ruchaka yoga to the Horoscope or is there an affect of Rahu that prevents it? . Mars is also an AK for the Karkata Ascendent and how does this affect the yoga. I would appreciate your or any of the gurus on this aspect. Guest guest
Dear Murthyji, With the blessings of Guruji Sanjay Rath, Guruji Narasimha Rao and other Gurujis on this list, I am trying to answer your query at my best. First of all, yes, Mars is forming a Ruchaka yoga by being exalted in a kendra. Whether it joins Rahu or any other planet, does not change the fact that it is exalted in a kendra. So Ruchaka yoga is guaranteed there. However, the quality and strength of this yoga can be judged only by analyzing Mars' combination with Rahu, which houses Mars lords, the aspects it receives, whether Mars gives unobstructed argala to lagna or the 7th house, etc. When this yoga would fructify can be seen from Mangal's gochara, dasas and ashtakvargas. I can't comment on what difference does Mars being AK make, since I don't have much knowledge about charkarakas as yet. Jai Sri Ram! Namaste. Guest guest
Dear Sudharshan, Ruchak, or for that matter other panchmahapurusha yga do not say anything about this. However, I agree that the results would be modified per house lordship, aspects and strength of Navamshesh of sign dispositor in natal chart. Placement in Maran karana sthana might not carry the same weight. Your comments would be appreciated. Chandrashekhar. ---- Hare Rama KrishnaDear Ragheswari,My two cents worth. Guest guest
|Hare Rama Krishna|Dear list, When Ruchaka Yoga is formed, the native has such an exalted personality that it can be resembled to that of God. Thats the meaning behind Mahapurusha Yoga's. For such great men, if Mars is in the 7th house the native has such a good heart, and the worst thing you can do is make them marry, and then all hell breaks loose. If Rahu is also joined, then this causes a long drawn fight (vijaya yoga) after which the native is victorious. However Mars also being Atmakaraka changes everything! Mars is constantly trying to protect the soul (sun), and the only way it can reach the soul is by laying down its weapons. So now the warrior must stop fighting? Hard lesson to learn. The native ends up letting his spouse walk all over him, as he stops fighting. Ishta Devata worship is vital.Best wishesVisti---Sri Jagannath Center: http://.orgBhagavad Purana: http://www.srimadbhagavatam.orgiTRANS 99 Font: http://www.omkarananda-ashram.org - Chandrashekhar Sharma vedic astrology Tuesday, July 01, 2003 8:32 PM Re: [vedic astrology] Re: Ruchaka Yoga question Dear Sudharshan, Ruchak, or for that matter other panchmahapurusha yga do not say anything about this. However, I agree that the results would be modified per house lordship, aspects and strength of Navamshesh of sign dispositor in natal chart. Placement in Maran karana sthana might not carry the same weight. Your comments would be appreciated. Guest guest
|| Jaya Jagannath ||Dear Sudarshan, Such combinations where the mahapurusha yoga causing planet is in Marana Sthana, the planet is taken out from that condition due to the mahapurusha yoga. The effect of the yoga shall start later in life when the effect of Marana Sthana shall end and a new beginning shall occur. Guest guest
hare rama krishna, dear sudarshan ji, namaste, how true!!!!!!!I my lagna is tau. and I have Mars in the 7th in scorpio- sun my ak also joins it- dear mercury and jupiter( bk) make amerry foursome.I think this has not resulted in any yoga for me- I'm just an ordinary person- infact mars is the lord of 12th and 7th in my case. I personally feel if its with the ak and is not a yagakaraka- it really gives you a proper shaking up in its Md.The only plus that Imcan think of is that since Mars is a natural karaka for younger brothers- It has given me loving and prosperous younger brothers- I hope I'm not rambling- correct me please. regards, anu. - Sudharsan Srinivasan vedic astrology Tuesday, July 01, 2003 10:12 PM [vedic astrology] Re: Ruchaka Yoga question Hare Rama KrishnaDear Ragheswari,My two cents worth. Guest guest
|Hare Rama Krishna|Dear Mike, If your referring to the tempering of the personality, then yes it does as the agni of mars is quenched by the jala of venus and prithvi of mercury. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Partha and Chandrakeshar, Rahu with Mars is indeed Vijaya Yoga, however, it may in times act unfavourably giving poverty, particularly if one of these grahas is badhakesh. My friend has Mars and Rahu in 7th house (Cancer Ascendent) and after the marriage and during the pregnancy of his wife (Mars is 5th lord) he experienced poverty. ONLY Shani ruler of Exaltation sign of Mangal can remove it. When you think of yuti, you may consider the following: Rahu-Mangal will act similarly like Rahu placed in 3/6 houses (Mangal is karak), which we know that is good giving parakrama. Rahu will however also give effects of scorpio and mesh (ruler of 1st and 8th houses in Natural Zodiac), so That is the problem.. Thus, though Mahapurush may be present, if there are doshas with Mangal, be sure that this combination will indeed give in times poverty, not Mahapurush. For Yoga effects, you know that Mangal must not have Raja bhanga, and bad placements in Navamsa and Shastiamsa. Shani must be well placed as well as Both Luminaries. Also, see my article on Rashi-Tulya Navamsa, there is an example of Mangal exaltation in 7th house, and even guru and shani exaltations in kendra, yet the person is ordinary, due to weakness of luminaries and poor navamsa placements. When this yoga would fructify can be seen from Mangal's gochara, dasas and ashtakvargas.I can't comment on what difference does Mars being AK make, since I don't have much knowledge about charkarakas as yet.Jai Sri Ram!Namaste.Rageshwari.vedic astrology, Murthy Valluri <m1valluri> wrote: Dear Visti It's been awhile after the last year's incident, Istarted visiting the site. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Partha, Mangal rules pitta dosha, and excess of pitta causes skin problems ( Brandan may give more explanations of this) You are right that Mercury rules skin, yet for Mercury lagnas, Mangal is ruler of 6th and 8th houses, thus he can act inimically. So it can give skin disorders, yet mercury must be afflcited too. As far as rahu is concerned, it gives terrible skin diseases such as psoriasis. See the classical texts..Psoriases is a disease caused by mental shock and mental disorders of which rahu is karaka. My friend has Rahu in Scorpio Lagna and in Shani mahadasha Rahu antardasha, after his elder brother was killed (karak Shani), he got psoriases. THe truth is that Budha is neecha in 6th in NAvamsa, So you are right that budha must be afflicted, yet Anatnh observation is also correct. Guest guest
|Hare Rama Krishna|Dear Raji, The prediction was related to Mars as Atmakaraka with Rahu in 7th house. Very different context and it only happens if the native stops fighting. Vijaya Yoga is caused when the Asura's (Rahu) and Chamundi (Mars) come together to fight. This is a very volatile combination and Mars always ends up winning, just as Hanuman burnt Lanka - Ouch. The only question is how long, and what is the fight about? The position of Mars and Rahu in the 4th house is very bad for mothers health, and the home is at risk of being lost to fire, as Mars is trying to protect it from Rahu. Guest guest
Let me clear in this.If it is in the 4th house if affcets native's mother's health. How about Native's spouse in this same situation.Always fight with wife??Bcos of mars exalted and with rahu??I am considering the situation for libra lagna and rahu & mars in 4th(Makara) Thanks Raji Visti Larsen <vishnu (AT) lbq (DOT) dk> wrote: |Hare Rama Krishna|Dear Raji, The prediction was related to Mars as Atmakaraka with Rahu in 7th house. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Rageshwari, Badhak dosha is often seen in bad health or in times bad luck. For Simha Lagna, mars in 4th is both giving yoga and badhakesh. Thus, strenth of Shani can remove badhak, and Mars should be preferably placed in 12th house or Vyayamsa in movable sign in Navamsa chart. Surya position in 10th house is important to intiate the Yoga, while Chandra must also be strong to sustain it. However, Mangal as badhak having aspect over Surya (dharmakaraka) indicates that the person has forgotten to worship the deity from the previous life, and thus the curse of the daity is existent. Whenever graha is Yog giver and Badhak giver, the solution is simple, it will give both just on different levels. So no dillema Best wishes Zoran rageshwari75 wrote: Dear Zoranji,How should we interpret Ruchaka yog caused by Mars in 4th (aspected by Sun (Lagnesh) and Saturn) where Mars is the Badhakesh?I am having a confusion about results of Ruchaka yog when Mars is also a Badhakesh.Jai Sri Ram!Namaste.Rageshwari.vedic astrology, Zoran Radosavljevic <ahimsa@N...> wrote: Om Namo Narayanaya,Dear Partha and Chandrakeshar,Rahu with Mars is indeed Vijaya Yoga, however, it may in times act unfavourablygiving poverty, particularly if one of these grahas is badhakesh. My friend has Marsand Rahu in 7th house (Cancer Ascendent) and after the marriage and during the pregnancyof his wife (Mars is 5th lord) he experienced poverty. ONLY Shani ruler of Exaltation signof Mangal can remove it. When you think of yuti, you may consider the following:Rahu-Mangal will act similarly like Rahu placed in 3/6 houses (Mangal is karak), which weknow that is good giving parakrama. Rahu will however also give effects of scorpio and mesh(ruler of 1st and 8th houses in Natural Zodiac), so That is the problem.. Thus, though Mahapurushmay be present, if there are doshas with Mangal, be sure that this combination will indeed givein times poverty, not Mahapurush. For Yoga effects, you know that Mangal must not haveRaja bhanga, and bad placements in Navamsa and Shastiamsa. Shani must be well placed aswell as Both Luminaries. Also, see my article on Rashi-Tulya Navamsa, there is an exampleof Mangal exaltation in 7th house, and even guru and shani exaltations in kendra, yet the person is ordinary, due to weakness of luminaries and poor navamsa placements. Mars in the 7th is in his Marana Karaka Sthana and that mars the yoga.Hare KrishnaSudharsan--- In vedic astrology, "rageshwari75" <rageshwari75> wrote: Dear Murthyji,With the blessings of Guruji Sanjay Rath, Guruji Narasimha Rao and other Gurujis on this list, I am trying to answer your query at my best.First of all, yes, Mars is forming a Ruchaka yoga by being exalted in a kendra. Ibelieve that Mars either in exaltation or own orMoolatrikona sign in a kendra should give the Ruchakayoga. What happens if he is an AK and being with Rahu?Does being in 7th in Exaltation is different? For example, Karkata being the Ascendent and Mars &Rahu in Makara. Makara is being his Exaltation signand being kendra should give Ruchaka yoga to theHoroscope or is there an affect of Rahu that preventsit? . Mars is also an AK for the Karkata Ascendent andhow does this affect the yoga. I would appreciate your or any of the gurus on thisaspect. No doubt that Jupiter Dasa would bringhealth-related issues in its Dasa.Venus is 6th lord(abdomen) and is in 9th house, causing some problems inthat region. Furthermore its in Saturns sign, aspected by Rahu, which bothare enemies of Jupiter, causing the problems with the liver. Note that Sunsplacement should also have brought problems topancrea, however i do thinktheres more to this.Sun is joined Upapada, and Venus is afflicted byRahu. This causes blindnessacording to Jaimini, hence we do need to propitiate this in a proppermannor. Also note that Roga Pada is placed in 2nd house in Trimsamsa, asMrityupada is joined many grahas in 6th inTrimsamsa.2nd lord; Mercury is in 10th afflicted by Mercury, which can definitelycause eye-problems.The rest, i feel was pointed out by Narayan.+ Remedy +1. Lord of Sun's sign is Saturn hence Mrityunjaya Mantra will help.. howeverSaturn is also Atmakaraka, hence Istha Devata should definitely bepropitiated.. follow the guidelines given by Narayan in this case.2. Janma Nakshetras-Mantra is the best mantra tokeep one healthy: "OmBhagaya Namah", is for Purva Phalguni.. This can be recited any time, or attimes when health is really bad.3. Beejakshara for Jupiter in Lagna; "Gram" recited constantly, begining ona thursday.(Note that 'ra' is coupled with thebeejakshara, to burn awayGulika and Mandi).Hence tell her todo; #2-3 whilst you do #1 withher.. its important that sheparticipates in #1.Best wishes, Visti. - iyergroups To: vedic astrology Friday, February 08, 2002 1:07 AM [vedic astrology] Re: Health andLongevity - remedies - urgenthelp required om namoh bhagavate jagannathaaya Dear Visti, Shoola Dasa is not restricted to timing deaths. It is used to time ill-health, disease & sufferings too. About the type of Diabetes, my guess could beVenus. Both Jupiter & Venus are retrograde. Ju is a functional malefic for Taurus and he is strong in the Lagna. Venus has argala on 8H. It is in deep combust. In Trimsamsa both are together in Pisces, amalefic house for Capricorn Lagna. Jupiter is functional Malefichere too. Venus OTOH, is a functional benefic & Yogakaraka. However, In D-1, Venus is with A6(RogaPada) and rules MrityuPada/A8 (Chronic Suffering)! I observed that in D-9, AK is in 6H. This is asure-shot indicator of disease & sickness, AK is also the lord ofThrismsamsa Lagna and hence I prescribed the Mantra. I have not studied Vedic Remedies fully toprescribe any mantras. But feel free to prescribe one that you deem fit. Hope Mr. Murthy is reading this.
