Guest guest
Dear Gurus and others, My sister has for many years now been coping with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It surfaced in a bad way (uncontrollable obsession with disease to the point of bringing life to a complete halt) many years ago and with medication and counseling it is kept under control - her experience of the problem was also published in a New Delhi newspaper many years ago with the view of helping others who might have a hard time recognizing and dealing with similar problems. There is no real problem right now - she is a talented artist and an experienced producer of well known TV programs and documentary films. However, with my continuing increased interest in astrology, I would like to constructively figure out the right gem to wear and perhaps some mantras to recite. The general interest to this group is that they can see a chart with OCD - please no blanket public pronouncements couched in negativity though - I am listening. Her chart is attached, unrectified of course (for rectification purposes, she is the eldest of three children - 2 daughters and 1 son (me) and I'm the youngest, and of course her career is in the creative arts area, and she lives in India with my parents - she is unmarried - my other sister and I are in the US). My rectified chart (by Zoran hence reliable) is also attached. It seems to me that the problem is due to affliction of the Moon in the 6th tightly conjunct Rahu (exalted in Rasi) in several vargas. Rahu is the Atmakaraka so obviously this problem is severe and key to her existence. Moon in the 6th also seems to ratify the obsession with disease. Also, if not for the Moon, there would be a Kala Sarpa Yoga, I think. So, all the more, it seems to me that the solution lies in strengthening the Moon since it additionally is a natural benefic and perhaps also functional since it rules the 7th. If you agree, would the right stone be pearl then? What hand, what finger, what weight ("rati"s is what the jewellers seem to ask)? Also, what Mantra? "Om Namah Shivaya" seems to me to be a safe 6 syllable mantra which I believe will be targeted to the 6th house. However, it does not take the name into consideration, and is not particularly targeted at the moon etc. Her name is Renuka. Additionally please note that she is beginning the hard part of Sade-Sati - again pressure on the Moon. Please advise accordingly. Thank you, Sundeep The New Search - Faster. Easier. Guest guest
|| Jaya Jagannath || Dear Sundeep, For any psychological disorders, please check the 5th house also, the house of "inner harmony", here we see that 5th house is well placed with Sun, howevever there is papakartari yoga by Mars and Rahu. Now obsession, it is hightening of the desires and desires are shown by Venus. Venus's placement with Rahu can show such tendencies of obsession. Now look at it from another perspective, Rahu and Moon has contributed to Shakti yoga and Venus is placed with them, getting a hard blow from the yoga. Such Venus being the 5th lord is incapable to save its 5th house. However, the good thing is that, Jupiter well placed with its friends can protect the native. The virodhargala of Jup, Mars and Mercury, all the enemies of Rahu shall be able to defeat the exalted Rahu. The Kalamrita yoga is broken by Moon and Venus both, however Moon is outside Rahu's cluctch, hence Mother shall be a very important in the native's life. Please do not go for pearl as Moon shall highten the problems of the 6th house. The mantra Om Namah Sivaya is great for the 6th house weaknesses. Additionally for Kantak Sani (Ardha) and Sade-Sati, chamakam is a good remedy. Above all, we must note that Rahu is the Atmakaraka. When Atmakaraka is giving problem, the best remedy is Ista Devata, which happens to be Venus (associated with the real problem). So ask her worship the Annapurneswari and see the benefit. If her condition improves please make a small donation in my name to any temple to get free from any karmic debt. Guest guest
Dear Sundeep, Her problem has arisen from, obviously a heavyli afflicted Moon and placement of Venus the Yogakaraka and lord ofthe Buddhisthana. Lord of the 5th in 6th indicates self created enemies/deceases amd Moon with kendradhipati dosha being maraka by virtue of becoming owner of a quadrant, afflicted by Rahu in enemy house and enemy Navamsha indicates problems related to psyche than real decease. Venus the Lord of Budhisthana is also devoid of strength from Navamsha being in Sagitarius Navamsha. Budhi sthana is occupied by Sun Lord of 8th in enemy house and placed in enemy Navamsha of saturn. Add to this the fact that the only planets getting Yogakaraka strength are these very planets (Association with Trinal Quadrant Lords).Saturn Lord of the Ascendant in 2nd shows her capability to earn on her own. To add to this Mercury the 9th lord and Karaka for Buddhi associates with 3rd and 12th lord Jupiter. Despite of this she has success in her fields as Mars causes Panchamahapurusha yoga in 4th house, though devoid of digbala. He gains strength from Navamsha being in Cancer Navamsha. This apart please do not ask her to wear a pearl as this would add to her woes. If you want to use a gem, use Diamond so that her 5th house and its Lord is strengthened. Mantras and other remedies might be suggested by Gurus having mastery over that part of Astrology. Hope this helps. By the way did her problems first surface from Jupiter- Mercury Maha- Antardasha? Guest guest
Dear Sarjit I am still not sure about karmic debt but I am sure many will have questions with what you projected it to be. I suppose you have taken too many things for granted. You should never ask such thing of freeing and geting freed. You will see that if the remedy works then it is because of native's fortune and if it fails it is because of your mis-fortune! One thing is that consultation was not specific;your advise was sponteneous. In that case you presumtion for debt is not fair. You presumed that your advise is correct so you asked for debt. I am a student of astrology but I am sure that logic and personal projections will never go together. Why are you worried about native getting freed when you advise? In that case it would be very difficult for the native to listen to other gurus if every one starts in that fashion! There is no good point in starting unwanted rituals. If you want to advise, advise for your own sake not because of your projections. Jyotishi should be aware of that. This is where people involve mystics in jyotish. When you ask for such ritual you project yourself as mystic(unknowingly) and hence the science becomes meta-science. The rationalization what you said is typical of people who want to find some outlet to earn money from this science. You may not be doing it but on the lower level a BABA in the grampanchyat does that and that spreads Anndhashradha and a bad name to jyotish (in India). I do not want to echo my voice in front of my gurus but HarbhajanSingh being good bowler can not project Tendulkar's batting tips! Sorry, If you take it otherwise. I did not mean to hurt anyone. Thanks a lot for your Time and Space.
