Hope you don't mind me sending a mail directly to your address, but I didn't

want to seem to be perpuating a debate in public. Any way, I am writing this

mail to :

 

1. Firstly to thank you for you kind responses to queries, not fm me. I have

benefitted immensely fm your efforts and would also thank you for posting the

BHPS and other texts.

2. Secondly, I am touched by comments that you had a vision of Lord Krishna.

You are indeed fortunate and a great bhakta. Salutations to you.

 

I did nto say I had vision of Krishna direclty. Maybe it was misunderstood. I

saisd Krishna came to me in the form of Salagrama. So I have Darshan of

Salagrama Deities every day.

 

3. Thirdly, without going into the form and formless debate. I would agree with

you that man cannot only conceptualise, much less love that which has no form

or qualites. unless In Islam, though muslims are forbidden the use of idols,

Allah's 99 names depict His nature and character and that qualities serve as a

form and allow them to love a benvolent or compassionate God. Certainly he is

not looked upon as the Great Void of Buddhist philosopy. Even within th

Buddhists fraternity, the concept of Great Void has given way to various

dieties in China and the Far East, precisely because of the reasons that you

had mentioned, the need for form and qualities.

 

I have posted a book on Quran on my site, which proves that Allah is not

formless. Also, the need for a form is the natural desire of the soul, so to

negate it actually means spiritual suicide.
