While on neechabhanga, you clarified that mere placement of a debilitated planet

with the lord of that house doesn't cancel the debilitation. But what if the

debiltated planet is being aspected by the lord of that house in which the

debiltated planet is placed in the natal chart (through graha drshti)? I have

read in a few books that this is one of the ways in which neechbhanga occurs.

 

Shall be grateful if you could throw some light.

Dear KP Kanitkar

The rules given in the classical texts are for neechabhanga of all graha, it

does not specify that the rule will work only for one graha and not for

another. So why is this being assumed.

Secondly, conjunction of a debilitated planet wth the lord of the sign of its

debility does not cause neechabhanga. See the rules carefully. They are in the

archives as I have discussed this in detail earlier.
