Om Bhagwate Vasudevaya Namaha.

Respected Gurujis,

I have avidly read most of the gory articles in the web on Sade

Saathi because Iam currently undergoing the first phase. Nothing

untoward really has happened with the onset of Shani Graha and I must

confess that life has been kind to me (so far).

I have a couple of questions in this regard.

1. Does a combust Saturn in the natal chart deny the native(your's

truly) of qualities such as humility, patience, forthrightness etc

that the planet signifies throughout his life?

2. Would it be correct to believe that the turmoil ( or for that

matter success) doring the 7.5 years is dictated more by past Karma,

rather than the transits?

I would appreciate any clarification that the Learned in this group

provide.

Regards,

Yogesh Kumar

Dear Yogesh,

Regarding Sade Sathi, most people look to their natal Shani for answers, but the

answer is in the Moon itself.

The reason Sade Sathi is said to be so terrible, is because during the 7½ year

period, Shani does not have any contact with the 5th from the Moon sign.

The 5th from the Moon sign shows Purvapunya, or 'fortunes gained as a result of

past birth'.

When Shani doesn't see your purvapunya, he will not see any reason to adjust ur

punishment with all the good you did in your past birth.

So we may infer that the same principles applies to seeing the lord of the 5th from Moon.

Now answers to your question.

1. Ketu indicates the ability to bow ones head, and makes the native realise

their lack of thinking at times. Mars on the other hand is truly the adament

person in all of us, so check for his influence on your lagna or arudha lagna.

2. Yes your right.. i elaborated on this above.

Om Bhagwate Vasudevaya Namaha

Vistiji,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I took the liberty of extrapolating the seperation of natal Saturn

from the 5'th(Iam assuming that you were referring to the fifth house

from natal moon).

Maybe Iam missing a point ( I wouldnt be surprised if I did !), but

for a native born with natal Shani in the 12'th house from natal

Moon, shouldnt he be enduring the effects of Sade Sathi till the end

of his days? Shani adorns the 12 house and never gets to aspect the

5'th house from natal moon. So, the native dosent have to wait until

the onset of Sade Sathi to reel ( or revel) under the effects...He

has always been enduring them.

Same should be the case for natives born with

1. Moon cojoined by Shani and

2. Saturn in Second house from Moon.

Please clarify.

Regards,

Yogesh
