Guest guest
Namaste Listmembers, There is a comforting saying "Got does not give us more than we can bare". I wish this were true!. Here is the chart of Loretta: August 19, 1963, 12.40pm AEST (142E09 34S12) Asc 23Sc16. Loretta has Amavasya AK Moon, Gandanta in badhak 9th house Cancer. She has always been irreligious, referring to spiritually minded people as 'God botherers'. She suffers from chronic depression and an inability to concentrate which has become more severe with the onset of her Moon maha dasa. Loretta also has debilitated Moon in Vimsamsa 9th house. I know the learned of this group will simply shrug and attribute her suffering to karma, but I think it is so unfair that she is denied solace in God. Surely unbearable misery should be a percursor to faith as a seed of hope. I would be interested to hear any religious or philosophical thoughts on this. Also what and why the curse of Amavasya? Om Tat Sat Ann.
Guest guest
Hare Rama Krsna Dear Ann, When The New Moon occurs, the Mind is completely blind of God. Look at the 7th from Moon.. what is it seeing? Not God for sure, as the Sun is right behind her, so the result is that the mind is galoping after something it cannot see. In some rare cases, an Amavasya Dosha causes the birth of someone with the blessings of the divine mother, otherwise a materialist is born. The debilitation of Moon in Vimsamsa is however not a bad trait, actually i have this myself and its even in the 8th from lagna.. (my god some would say). No actually a weak moon in the D-20 is shows a mind who can really detach from the world and maybe even their own body. Debilitated planets in the D-20 shows the ability of the person to detach from the world in certain activities. Exalted planets like Jupiter may cause someone to cling to scripture, whilst debilitations would cause the opposite. Her Arudha Lagna also falls in Cancer with the Moon, as 4th lord from AL is Venus placed in Cancer. Look at the degrees of Venus and Moon.. quite close to each other eh? She is highly emotional due to the moon+venus placement and right now she is struggling to see a goal infront of her (amavasya). As Saturn is in the 7th from Moon, and retro, all she sees is pain, suffering etc etc. So question is.. is the Atma going to reveal itself? Is she going to see so much pain that she decides to direct the senses inwards instead of out? Guest guest
dear ms. ann, from your letter it sound that the amavasya moon is the cause of irreligious mind. as per my knowledge and experience it may not be the real/only cause for her attitude and sufferings. learned gurus on this list can throw more light on this. t. v. rao - Ann Murphy vedic astrology Cc: Ann Murphy Tuesday, March 11, 2003 9:13 PM [vedic astrology] Gandanta Namaste Listmembers, There is a comforting saying "Got does not give us more than we can bare".
