Difference between afflictions from Rahu & Ketu

Dear Memeers,

 

I know is a dumb question, but I have very basic knowledge on

Astrology, I hope someone could help. In General, what is the

difference of effects created by Rahu and Katu when it's afflicting

another planet (example: Mars) by being in very close conjunction?

I tried but no luck I know it's a vague question. I just want to

know how Rahu and Ketu works in such a situation, in general.
