Guest guest
Dear Friends and my dear wonderful loving brother Visti, I want to know the reason why Mercury and Jupiter are enemical to each other. Shouldn't Jupiter being in Mercury's sign aid intelligence as signified by Jupiter and wisdom too. Also what is the significance of 5th lord in 11th and 11th lord in 5th in a chart....my chart it is. Jupiter in Gemini in 5th, Mercury, Venus, Sun in Sagitarrius in 11th. I presume it is a Parivartana Yoga and as Das Goravini puts it a Bhagyawan Yoga.(5th in 11th & 11th in 5th). However my main question is, will Jupiter being in Gemini reduce its qualities...same with Mercury being in Saggitarius. Your responses will be appreciated. Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru : Dear sunit : Here my try for jupiter and mercury being enimical. Mercury sigifies a child(mind you not not a student) who longs to be carefree and play. Jupiter signifies a teacher who prefers that the child learn. A conflict of interest arises and enemity(of warying degree) blooms. (you could see this phenomenon in any school, college etc.etc. life is also same). Can't say much about the yoga's as my knowledge. I think it may be that lord of labha bhava (11th house) and putrabhava (5th house) get exchanged influence each others functions. GAins or losses in the area of fame, kids, luck, knowledge to acquire those may depend their ability to dispose their karakatwas. I could be wrong. I would wait for the gurus to correct me. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Dear Ishwar, This has been taught by Gurudeva. The notion of the student having a conflict with the teacher isn't true at all times. Else Arjuna would never have squeezed every drop of knowledge from Dronacharya. However, Jupiter is at home relaxed in Pisces(12th house from the natural Zodiac) , doing what he likes best and that is meditating and giving. Mercury who is actually an adopted son of Jupiter spends so much of his time and energy trying to do what Jupiter does and in the process get's very weak in Pisces. As you pointed out, all mercury wants to do is try to learn and show off his talents and abilities which is being engaged in debates and matching his wits with all! Gurudeva also teaches Jupiter and mercury are the very foundation of Dhi-Shakti. There is more to this and the clue is in understanding why the moolatrikona places allotted to each planet. I havent yet been taught much about yoga's. But going by just combinations and applying the same literally would'nt get us anywhere. Guest guest
Om krishna guru Dear Hari : I agree with you. Please note I mentioned "CHILD" not a student. As a student, mercury is friendly to Jupiter. but as a child he wants to play and have fun and jupiter wants him to learn and probably be moderate. This will indicate a conflict of interest.
