Naaga Dosham - thanks and a few queries on it

Dear Ramadas Rao Sir,

I thank you very much for your efforts put into interpreting my

horoscope. As per your advice I shall go ahead for performing

Ashlesha Bali pooja. A few basic queries on this context and answers

to them would he helpful:

01. Where can I perform this Ashlesha Bali pooja? I was told that

Pujas for Naga/ Sarpa Dosha are performed in Kalahasti Temple near

Tirupati. I seek your esteemed opinion in this matter.

02. Do you think that the Purohits/ Pujaris in the temples would be

aware about this puja.

03. Are there any special days to perform this puja or any day would

be fine?

04. I am facing quite a lot obstacles on my marriage front. Is it

owing to Naga/ Sarpa Dosha?

Also thank you Sir for sharing the Sarpa Suktha.

OM KLEEM KRISHNAYA NAMAHA

Dear Avinash,

In your chart 7th lord Shani is retrograde and is

placed in 11th house in Vrishabha Rasi owned by Shukra

and Shukra as vivaha Karaka is also bhadhakadhipathy

for your chart .Shukra is with Kuja and is having a

rasi drishti of Shani ®.UL is in Mesha Rasi owned by

Kuja and he along with Bhadhaka aspects UL.So is the

delay.Worship Sri Lakshmi Narasimha by reciting

stotras and Mantra.Also at present you are running

Now at the moment Shani is transitting your 12th house

in the rasi chart.By May 30th,2005 Shani will enter

your Lagna and Moon sign from where he aspects 7th

house and at that time Guru will be transitting Kanya

Rasi from where he aspects your 7th house as well as

7th lord Shani ®.So during this transit you may get

married.At that time you will be running Ravi

Dasa-Shani's antara from 22-12-2004 till 4-12-2005.So

this period will be most suitable period for your

marriage.

Now regarding Naaga Dosha Pariharam,either you can go

to Kalahasthi temple or Mannarsala in Kerala state

near Trivendrum.Performing of rituals ,you have to

Dear Prakash,

You have very good vipareeta Raja Yoga in your

chart.But regarding marriage,it says Shani in 7th

delays it.Now 7th lord Shukra is in 8th with Lagna and

6th lord Kuja.Shani is Vargothama.Being 3rd and 4th

lord he becomes a malefic for this chart.Budha is also

a malefic but he lord of 11th house,indicating gain

is done at trimbakeshwar, near nasik, maharashtra.

Ashlesha is the nakshatra of Naag and normalli in

south India,for those people who have Sarpa Dosham,a

special pooja called Ashlesha Bali Pooja will be

performed on Ashlesha Nakshatra day and I have seen

this Pooja is giving very auspicious results.

Dear Ramadas Ji,

A puja was done for me sometime in 1992 when I was about 34 years old.

My Nakashtra is Aslesaha 1st Pada.

I was told following things:

a)It was for Ketu.

b)It should have been done for me every 7 years starting from the year I was

born to get best results.(I think from materlistic point of view)

c)Pandit Ji had cut little bit of my hair and thrown them away.

d)One big difference I noticed was that I started staying more at home where as

earlier I was always socializing.

Otherwise everything is at about the same level.

OM KLEEM KRISHNAYA NAMAHA

Dear Jagmeetji,

As per your chart given,Lagna is Mesha and is occupied

by Kethu and Guru,Rahu and Kuja occupies 7th

indicatind severe Sarpa Dosha.Also your Nakshatra is

Ashlesha ruled by Sarpa devatha.So the Pandit might

have done some ritual to alleviate the malefic results

of Kethu.But Ashlesha Bali pooja is not like that.

The Pandits will first draw a picture of Naag Devatha

in the form of Rangavalli ( A coloured design) and in

the middle is kept 9 kalashas and first a havan is

performed called Prayaschitta Havan,(Purusha Suktha

Havan ),then Nava (9) Kalasha pradhana Havana will be

performed.After that that Ashlesha Bali Havan is

performed and then the pandits will keep 108 rice

(Cooked with turmeric ) laddus (In the form of round

shape )in different places of the Naaga Devatha

picture and starts giving Bali to each rice Laddu by

reciting Mantras and light will be lit on each rice

Laddu.Finally Maha Pooja will be conducted and the

Vatus (Small brahmin boys who have done

Brahmopadesham) will be fed with food kept as Nivedya

to the Pooja and finally all other Brahmins and other

people will also be fed with Prasad.

This is the correct method for Ashlesha Bali Pooja.

I have seen a couple who have not had any progeny for

so many years and due to the advice of an

astrologer,they performed this Ashlesha Bali pooja

every month on Ashlesha Nakshatra day for 18

consecutive months and as a result they had been

blessed with a Male and a female children.

Can you please tell how to find the istha deivam for me from my chart? Mercury

and Sun (in mesha) aspect my 12 th house in Rasi (Thula) which is the 12 th

house from Karakamsa. Also Jupiter aspects the Sun and Mercury from the 2nd

house (dhanus)Jupiter in the second house is aspected by Mars and Venus from

the eight house.

Based on the planets involved Sun, mercury, Jupiter, Mars and Venus how can i

find the istha deivam for spiritual progress as well as material progress in

this life.
