Mars and Venus in 8 th house but its Venus own sign - Taurus

Hi,

 

I am new to astrology. Please explain as to how to interpret this.

What would be the effect of Mars and Venus together in the 8th house

but its Venus own sign Taurus. The Lagna being Tula, Mars is a

yogakaraka. As he is in the 8th house will he still be a yogakaraka?

Lalitha,

 

The entire chart would be preferable. However Mars is not the yogakaraka for

libra lagna, Saturn is. By definition, mars has the propensity to kill, but one

would need the entire chart.

I agree with Narahari.

 

Some points to analyze:

 

- 8th lord in 8th is a good yoga (Sarala yoga?)

- This combination is in the 6th from Arudha lagna.

Mars is owning 2nd and 7th and hence he is a Functional benefic. Also by

owning 7th /2nd he becomes a marana karaka and can inflict death during his

periods. The placement of any planets in 8th general is not good as their

signifaction suffers. ve in 8th may give longitivity but will also give

sufferings. Mars as a natural malefic is good in 8th. since it aspects its

own house from 8th may give you properties, and by conjunction with Lagna

lord will make one accident prone.

The whole chart has to be looked for proper analysis.

Venus is is also in Virgottamam in Navamsa.

 

I sometimes feel that my bad luck in my horoscope is affecting my

husband also as regards our career. Is that true? Both of our careers

has been hard for the past 2 years. I lose my job and he follows.

I am running the Mars dasa Venus Antardasa.

a quick look in your chart.

definitely Ve in its own house in 8th is a special

dhan yoga .generally the exchange of 1st & 8th should

occur for this yoga. In this case it involves only Ve

as it is lording both I presume it is a special yoga.

may be some learned member from the list can verify

it. As already mentioned presence of lagna lord ve in

8th will definitely bestow a long life.

Othe feature in your horoscope is cluster of 4 planets

in 7th. Su,Me,Sa & Mo.all combust. This can cause

domestic disturbance.moreover you were running saade

saathi the last phase in last 2.5 years. you should

get areleif when Sa moves over to Ge.

Moon as 1oth lord in 7th and Ju in 1st forms a GK

Yoga.

you had Mo dasa during Oct 86 - Oct 96. did you have a

good period after 1992 in terms of your profession

Thank you very much for your analysis. Yes, Moon Dasa

after Oct 1992 was very good. I got a profession

immediately after my graduation.

 

My best career period was Mars/Rahu and Mars/Jupiter.

I got a lot of recognition at work.

 

As regards Rahu in 5th: True when I got conceived,

fag end of Mars/Rahu, my husband was forcing me to

undergo abortion. I was very angry and due to

pressure from him, I too felt like giving up. But

because of God's Grace and definitely due to 5th

aspect of Jupiter and also Mars/Jupiter Dasa/Antar

Dasa, things just cleared on their own and we have a

beautiful son almost 4 yrs old.
