It has features as given below: (1) You can directly open and save data in .jhd compatible file format. (2) You can enter upto 20 events and save them in same .jhd files without any difficulty in opening in Jagannath Hora Lite. Event Sheet also includes some additional events like birth,now for current time,yearly (also monthly etc) chart and Trial for search. (3) You can view Vinshottary Dasha,Rashi-Bhukt-Vinshottary Dasha, Kakshya-Details in Rashi-Bhukta-Dasha,Tribhagi Dasha and Longitudes of Progressed Moon at start and end of Dasha. Nisarg Dasha is included as a separate and complete system. You also have the option to change number of days and starting longitude for Dasha. (4) You can even compress the dasha to any desired length. I had the older version - GrahaDashaRashi and that also worked fine. I have Microsoft XP op system with Excel 2000. In Excel you may want to go to Tools - Add-ins - and check the boxes for Analysis Toolpack and Analysis Toolpack VBA. This is a suggestion. You sure invested a lot of time in programming it - Moreover, generously sharing it with the hundreds of members of this list. However, it would have been nice if you mentioned (among others) the exact underlying source(s) of your calculations as I do get different results in comparison with other programs or even by manual calulation on some parts. As an example the Narayana dasa that I get (tested on three charts) has different time frames comparing with the same in JH lite and even the Vdasa Excel sheet. If you are not, try this: go to control panel-add/remove program and remove it.Now reinstall it. The problem is due to non availability of comdlg32.ocx. I have included it in installation.You do not need VB for it.You may also try to run .bat file from temp directory under windows to register the control if it is already in windows/system. I found it works even on a 486/win 95/excel 97. there is a small mistake in char dasha. I will load updated file soon. If you have noticed any bug/mistake please do send them to me. I could not down load it last time and this time too. I am ending up with down loading vedic astrology group home page every time. Request to give me any possible reason. Fractions(=365.25636) and expressions(=1/24 hourly interval) are allowed. Transits prediction by Ashtakvarg requires Knowledge of Kakshya. You can directly view kakshya of each planet in ephemeris. This is different from other softwares where D16,D20,D24,D30,D40,D45 AND D2 have them togather. If you do not agree just avoid above vargas. (2) Dasha dates are approximate(EXACT FOR GIVEN YEAR LENGTH) and may be off by upto 5 days (based on Sun's longitude). Please ALWAYS check Sun's longitude for exact date and time. Use exact date/time option when accuracy is needed. (3) IT WILL NOT TAKE DATES BEFORE 1-1-1900 (unless you modify it). (4) Enter your data only on DATA AND EVENT SHEETS in BOLD areas only. All calculations are correct upto seconds.Moon may be off by upto 5 seconds. This program is based on swiss ephemeris and needs MSExcel 97.
