Loosing my faith in any astrological remedy?

Dear Jotish friends,

Thank you all for looking at my chart and suggesting remedies. I have

been doing all the remedies as I know---wearing stones (Red Coral,

Yellow Sapphire, and Ruby), reciting rudram mantra and worshiping

Istha and Palan Deveta for last 5 months. Nothing helped me and

finally I am loosing my fate in remedy. I started thinking whatever

is in my fate it will happen and there is no remedy that can really

work.

If I can't help myself with remedy then there is know way I can

suggest astrological remedy to anyone.

Dear jotish frriends,

Thank you for the offer to look at my chart. I know everyone goes

through bad and good time in life and I always believed in karma --

which I still do and always tried to fix my problems without jotish

remedy. I have 10th lord Ve in lagna I think that is what gave me

persiverence in life to fight with all odd. But when I started

learning astrology 6 months ago, I started beliveing in jotish remedy

and applied on myself but it did not show any progress in my

situation, really it keept on getting worst. As I said I already did

all the remedies that I learned and also the ones that my jotish

friends in the group suggested. I know my comeing Ke/Ve from july,

2002 will be a better time, Sa also transit to favourable position

for me at that time. But if the remedy does not help during bad

planetary situation then why use it? why not just wait for good time?

Dear Chandan,

I am not an astrologer but I thought I would share my experiences with

you regarding remedies. I have been wearing a red coral and a cat's eye

since 1999. It was recommended to me by an astrologer friend in Calcutta

who is very good with gemmology. He is very particular about the colour

and quality of the stones and insists that is very important. My coral

is a deep red (not orange, not maroon, not blackish maroon) and my cat's

eye is yellowish green (not bluish green or greyish green or grey). Each

tint apparently is recommended under different circumstances. So you have

to make sure you are wearing the right shade. The quality of the stone

has to be excellent. Which will make them expensive. It has been a little

over two years that I am wearing them. These two years have been bad professionally

(ruined my career) for a variety of astrological factors, not least of

which saade-sathi and a very bad mars transit last year. But it could have

been worse had it not been for the rings. The rings act as a protective

shield, warding off the evil. Let me explain further. Each time my career

has ended (this is the 4th time) there is a explosion, some scandal, some

incident which gets blown out of proportion. After wearing the rings, whatever

had to happen, happened, but things diffused very fast. There has been

no explosions. No harm has come to me. I have been protected. The learned

may say there are astrological factors for this. I believe it is the rings.

They are like an armour. Weapons would be shot at you but they will be

deflected. You will merely get a jolt. Finally, whatever the 'period' or

'time' you are going through, whatever remedies you may or may not do,

you will have to continue to do your karma, you have to constantly try

and persevere. It does not matter if there are no results. Just do your

bit. It will happen when it has to happen. End of last year I picked myself

up for the 4th time in my life, joined a gym to create physical and mental

strength and started afresh. When I am trying and working I don't

remember my transits and saade sathis. I only concentrate on my work. I

only think about them when I am discussing and trying to learn astrology.

I know what has to happen will happen. But I cannot give up working and

trying. Please don't give up. Please continue to your work and persevere.

Also don't give up your remedies. Do them side by side without any expectations.

Things will fall into place when it has to.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am just too frastead since

this is the first time I tried to do astrological remedy for my

troubles and it didn't work (Or I should say didn't work as I

expected) first time is very crucial since it build a trust and

that's why I was so disappointed. But thank you again for sharing

your experience--it gave hope and strength. I got very interested in

gems and been studying gem for sometime so I am quite familiar with

quality, type and price of gems. The gems I been using are of very

good quality natural gems. I would love to have the astrologers

contact information you maintained because it is very tricky to

figure out what color of cats eye someone need (grayish, greenish,

orangish,redish, lemonish, or greenish). I am still very ignorant

with this.

Dear Chandan,

 

I am only a beginner in Jyotish but I have been reading your posts. I also have

experienced "difficult" karma in my life.

 

May I suggest that the best way to find out what to do is to consult a good

Vedic astrologer who can tell you if these karmas are dridha (fixed),

dridha-adridha (fixed/non-fixed) or adridha (non-fixed). Only in this way will

you have the information you need to decide on a proper basis what remedies

should be taken.

 

It may be that the remedies *will* work once you have the proper information on

what you actually need according to your karmas.

Hi Sarbani,

 

Any of the astrologers who are guru's in SJVC should be able to do this for one.

Of course, one would have to have a private consultation, but this can be done.

My astrologer, Mr Robert Koch, has been guiding me for the past two years very

successfully via email.

 

I believe that karma and past life karma is *such* a specialised aspect of Vedic

astrology that one needs someone who not only is a Vedic astrologer, but who has

a deep knowledge of the Vedas as well. We do have these people in SJVC.

Dear List,

The Navamsa of the graha causing the problem will show

the intensity of the ailment.

 

1. If the graha is Vargottama, the ailment cannot be

removed.

 

2. If not vargottama, then;

 

If Fixed Navamsa, the ailment is hard to remove and

will take much effort.

If Dual, then it will take some effort but is

moderately easier than being in a fixed sign.

If Movable the ailment can easily be removed.

 

So now you must find the problem causing graha.
