Guest guest
Re: Response to Sushma's Horoscope Questions Feb 27, 2002 Hi Sushma, Sorry for getting back to you so late; my schedule has just recently relented long enough for me to be able to check and respond to email more frequently. Hopefully, what I write here will be of some help to you. Responses are as follows: SM: Hello All I am a new member of this group. I read the archive messages and am quiet impressed with the discussions and guidance this group has been providing. I would like to know my future, esp., regarding marraige. I'm 26 and single. Long back, one of our family astrologers told that I have Rahu dosh (1.5). Would like to know the ill effects of this dosha. Following are my details Date of Birth --> 08.03.1975 Time of birth --> 12.10 PM (IST) Place of birth --> Palakkad (Kerala) MU: I have tried to find your place of birth both in several programs I own, along with several printed forms of atlases I have, and came up dry. I know that Kerala is in the South of India, so I cast a tempoary chart for Bangalore, India. Doing that, I got a late Tau Asc, about 26 degrees actually. So, please send correct coordinates and I will be able to give a more accurate assessment. If the chart is correct to any measurable degree, I can then see what your family Astrologer was talking about, as the Nodes would be quite strong. Rahu in the 7th in itself CAN be problematic, but not always so; in fact, it is often called in India, one of the chief "marriage makers", the others being Venus and Jupiter. In fact, in your case, and again, if the chart I have is anywhere near correct, Jupiter aspects Rahu from the 11th house, taking with it the influence of Venus. These combinations suggest at least two different women from whom to choose from, if not more. Venus' exaltation, and association with it's lord, all in the 11th, should give a good number of girlfriends. Both the Atmakaraka and the Darakaraka are associated with the 7th lord, which is also exalted, AND placed in the 9th. This suggests again, that finding a good mate should not a huge problem at all. If we take Karakamsa Mercury and reckon from its point in the Navamsa as the 1st house, we see that Darakaraka Moon is placed in the 6th from it; additionally, it is also the 12th lord from KK Mercury. These things suggests delays and setbacks - but DK Moon's association w/Venus, and no afflictions from any malefics, ensures eventual happines in your search for a bride. Rasi 7th lord Mars is well placed in the Navamsa, even though it is placed on the Ketu arm of the Nodal axis. It receives the good aspect of Jupiter, while at the same time, Jupiter associates w/Mercury and aspects the 7th house from them both. All of these are great combinations, again, if your Asc sign is correct. It is impossible for me to reckon the Dasas at this time, as I do not know for certain what your Asc sign and degree should be. The sooner you get me the info I need, the sooner we can be more specific as to the timing of all of this. SM:I have another doubt -- Also my brother has mangal dosha. Can mangal dosha be nullified ?? Is it mandatory that a guy/girl with mangal dosh should marry only a mangal dosha guy/girl, else would lead to marital dispute , disharmony or death ??? MU: Kuja Dosha is both a well-known, but often misunderstood combination. It often suggests problems in relationships that are above-average - but, it cannot operate alone in isolation. Other combinations pertaining to same have to be present in the horoscope in order for this condition to really have any sway in the scheme of things. Additionally, KD is really only relevant if it recurs from at least two of three Asc's - The Asc, the Moon and Venus. If Mars falls in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th houses from any of the afore-mentioned Asc's, KD can be a powerful disruptive force along the line of relationships, especially before the age of 28. One of the common antidotes is to match up people who have this combination, on the theory/understanding that each person's dosha will cancel the other's out. I have seen this principle to work in practice, no matter how weird it may sound. Another is to simply have the person wait until after their 28th year to marry. Yet another is make certain that the parties involed are not marrying under the directional influences of Mars (in other words, one of the people is NOT running a major or minor period of Mars). I think that perhaps the most-effective method for cooling out the KD, is for the people involved to have some in-depth relationship/pre-marital counseling. Although I have not seen your brother's chart per se, I HAVE seen yours (I think), and it describes his situation perfectly. The 3rd house is the house of siblings (especially younger ones, and I think he is younger than you - reason is, that when Jupiter occupies the 11th house, the native is the oldest sibling in the entire family OR the oldest in that sex, male or female) , and the Moon, Mercury and Mars all occupy the 7th from it (your 9th). This places a great interest and focus on relationships, marriage, women and the like (note also, how your Venus-Jupiter combination now falls into your brother's 9th house). KD is cancelled if Mars associates with the Moon, for this gives rise to what is known as Chandra-Mangala Yoga, and is usually very beneficial, especially when it comes to females. Your brother does not have anything to worry about. Please get back to me ASAP, so that I fine-tune things, Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Salaam, Mu ===== Mu'Min M. Guest guest
OM GANESHAYA NAMAH !!! Dear Sushma, I have casted your horoscope with Palghat (Kerala) as you Birth city. Hope Palghat is near to your actual birth place. As MU said you have a Tauras ascendant and Rahu in 7th house. Many astrologers believe that Rahu goes into his debiliation sign when in scorpio or saggi. The good thing is that you have your 7th lord exalted in rasi and in own house in navamsa and that too in 9th house. I am sure you will see rise in your fate "Bhagya udya" after marriage that is imminent but the evil effect of rahu and 9th aspect of 8th lord jupiter from 11th wont get compensated with benevolent effects of exalted 7th lord mars in 9th. You are running rahu period (rahu is actually marriage maker) and saturn sub-period. Get ready for marriage in Mars sub-sub-period (starting from late august 2k2) when jupiter in transit will be aspecting your 7th house, 7th house lord, and ascendant lord .......that means you have some good chances of getting married after august 2k2 and before sept 2k3 Check for some bad time in rahu dasa and ketu antara. Regards, Jai OM GANESHAYA NAMAH !!!
