Yes you are right,You spelt it correctly,once again i

want to remind you that if this mantra cannot cure any

health problem then nothing can,it is accepted by

allmost all the saints and rishis that this is the

greatest mantra related to curing physical and mental

illesness,it is said to revive even a dead person

ofcourse if you master it by practise....this mantra

is like an elephants foot mark,so naturally it is very

big and so all other animals foot steps can fit into

it,but if you want only a foot mark of a jackal,then

only a jackal will fit into its footmark a camel or a

zebras footmark will not fit into it so what i mean by

this is if u chant this mantra for health all mantras

are like jackals so why not try the highest and all

the rest will also fit into it,it is also a moksha

mantra..........I will pray to god for your dear

mothers health,Please take care.

Mantras. How effective is listening to such chantings? Should one join in

chanting as it is played?

Dear Murthy & Narayan,

Heres my anaysis of the chart.

 

Jupiter is retrogade in Lagna, in Janma Tara(Nava Tara Chakra), as its joined

Gulika and Mandi. No doubt that Jupiter Dasa would bring health-related issues

in its Dasa.

 

Venus is 6th lord(abdomen) and is in 9th house, causing some problems in that

region. Furthermore its in Saturns sign, aspected by Rahu, which both are

enemies of Jupiter, causing the problems with the liver. Note that Suns

placement should also have brought problems to pancrea, however i do think

theres more to this.

 

Sun is joined Upapada, and Venus is afflicted by Rahu. This causes blindness

acording to Jaimini, hence we do need to propitiate this in a propper mannor.

Also note that Roga Pada is placed in 2nd house in Trimsamsa, as Mrityupada is

joined many grahas in 6th in Trimsamsa.

 

2nd lord; Mercury is in 10th afflicted by Mercury, which can definitely cause eye-problems.

 

The rest, i feel was pointed out by Narayan.

 

+ Remedy +

 

1. Lord of Sun's sign is Saturn hence Mrityunjaya Mantra will help.. however

Saturn is also Atmakaraka, hence Istha Devata should definitely be

propitiated.. follow the guidelines given by Narayan in this case.

 

2. Janma Nakshetras-Mantra is the best mantra to keep one healthy: "Om Bhagaya

Namah", is for Purva Phalguni.. This can be recited any time, or at times when

health is really bad.

 

3. Beejakshara for Jupiter in Lagna; "Gram" recited constantly, begining on a

thursday.(Note that 'ra' is coupled with the beejakshara, to burn away Gulika

and Mandi).

 

Hence tell her todo; #2-3 whilst you do #1 with her.. its important that she participates in #1.

timing deaths. It is used to time ill-health, disease & sufferings too.About

the type of Diabetes, my guess could be Venus. Both Jupiter & Venus are

retrograde. Ju is a functional malefic for Taurus and he is strong in the

Lagna. Venus has argala on 8H. It is in deep combust. In Trimsamsa both are

together in Pisces, a malefic house for Capricorn Lagna. Jupiter is functional

Malefic here too. Venus OTOH, is a functional benefic & Yogakaraka.However, In

D-1, Venus is with A6(RogaPada) and rules MrityuPada/A8(Chronic Suffering)!I

observed that in D-9, AK is in 6H. This is a sure-shot indicator of disease &

sickness, AK is also the lord of Thrismsamsa Lagna and hence I prescribed the

Mantra. I have not studied Vedic Remedies fully to prescribe any mantras. But

feel free to prescribe one that you deem fit.Hope Mr. Murthy is reading

I thank you all for your help. I started doing Maha

Mrityunjaya for my mother and also Narayana Kavacha.

By god's grace so far she is stable and her condition

has not deteriorated further. Once she feels better I

can ask her to start #2 and #3. With reference to #3

does she needs to says only "Gram" or "Om Gram".

Please let me know.

 

I'll post her recovery regularly to the forum.
