Hi! In my chart, Virgo is the ascendant with both Jupiter and Moon in

Cancer.

I want to know if the karako bhava nashaya principle applies to the

11th house in my case since Jupiter is sited there.

Regards,

Ramapriya

Vyam Vysadevaya Namaha!

---------------

Dear Ramapriya,

I believe the term Karaka Bhava Nasa, refers to the natural signification of

planets placed in the same house, i.e. Putra Karaka in 5th and Darakaraka in

7th.

I'm however not sure whether its been idicated whether to use Naisargika

Karakas or Chara Karakas.

Using the above criteria, Jupiter exalted in 11th has nothing todo with Karaka

Bhava Nasa.. I personally don't pay much attention to this.

Best wishes, Visti.

Karaka Bhava Nasa refers to a natural karaka in a house harming living things.

Thus Mars in the 3rd is harmful for siblings, but is good for courage which

Mars is also a karaka for. Venus in the 7th harms the spouse, but is good for

sexual relations, which it is also a karaka for. So when considering poeple,

the karaka in the house harms the person, or shortens thier longevity. But when

dealing with non personages the karaka in the bhava supports what it is the

karaka for.

Hello,

What you say about Karakobhava nasha is ok. Mars in

3rd gives younger brother who is successful. I have

seen this in few charts.

Venus in 7th gives liking for sex. I have seen

troubles when Venus is afflicted by natural malefics

at 7th house.

So I would like to think like Visti - don't attribute

much importance to this combination.

warm regards,

Balaji S.

Dear Balaji,

of course you can't treat this like everything. Is is just one factor to

consider. So if the karaka is in the house it is only one strike against

those living things the karaka rules, but all the influences have to be

measured. Also, it has nothing to do with that person being successful, it

only influences the longevity and whether that person will exist in the

native's life.
