Guest guest
Dear Balaji, > Dear Members, > > I understand D-60 indicates to an extent the past > karma (I always think all are due to karma). Well-said. Yes, all charts are due to past karma (past actions)! After all, our free karma of present (present action) is NOT shown in any chart - it is in our hands! What our rasi, navamsa, damsamsa etc show is the environment in which this "present free karma" has to be performed. This environment imposes strong - often conclusive - constraints on our present karma. But present karma is, strictly speaking, in our hands. Where do these constraints come from? They come from past karma. Based on all the actions of past lives, the environments that the soul is subjected to in this life (in various areas of life) are decided. Accordingly, rasi, navamsa, dasamsa etc are decided. So they ARE all due to past karma as you rightly say. If all the charts are due to past karma and reflect past karma in a way, then what is the speciality of D-60? Well, the answer is that D-60 IS the past karma. Other charts are DUE TO past karma and REFLECT it. D-60 directly shows past karma. It shows exactly what one did in his/her past life. > My question is, how this karma manifests and also how > it can be remedied? > > I also know with no consensus in ayanamsa, D-60 will > be affected - see Destiny throws veil about the past! Even if one believes that a particular ayanamsa is accurate, birthtime errors can never be ruled out. So often nothing can be said conclusively about one's past life. Some (not all) Nadis offer accurate readings about the past life. Sanjay recently wrote here (when replying to Ron) about a nadi reading that revealed something significant about his past life. Try to match that reading with Sanjay's D-60 (Sanjay's birthdata is given in all of his books and in my book too). That will be a good start. Overall, readings in Nadis can be helpful if you want to start testing D-60 interpretation! > warm regards, > Balaji S. These days I read only 5% of the posts here - no time. I happened to catch a few by you. Nice. Please keep up the nice work! May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
Guest guest
Dear Narasimhaji, I am delighted to get a reply from you. You are doing a great service to the mankind by writing very enlightening articles and books. Talking more about Karma ( I have Lord of 10th in Lagna), I would think some we need to experience. Some can be remedied while some bad karma done will show its problems no matter what remedies are done. There are some articles about remedies. For some it work and in some cases it doesn't. One way out is to surrender to the Lord and develop spiritual nature. This can help to a great deal as loving hand of God is there to protect his devotees. Even if the devotee goes through tough times, God gives him the strength to endure the problems. Going back to our discussion on D-60, I am assuming the following may be appropriate to mention: 1. The karakathwas can be affected when a graha can have a cruel shastiamsa 2. If it owns two houses, the order of affecting may be the following: a. Affects the house it occupies (if it is its own) b. Affects the house it aspects (if it aspects its own) 3. The graha will show malefic results in its Dasa/Bhukthis Who can help in the situation is a topic of research. Look at the 11th house lord from the owners house, see if he is in good D-60. If so, it will ask the protector and will reduce the malefic effects. Talking about how to find if a graha gives problems: This is difficult and one needs to infer this using his experience and intuition. There are complications like, if a graha gives good result in one period, the same may give bad effects in another period. Also sometimes a graha can show good results in some areas whereas it will affect the other aspects. Just to quote a personal example: Guru always gives me good spiritual nature. But I have seen troubles on Thursdays! I have also been blessed by some saints and I have had lot of spiritual experiences. In spite of that, I see problems and hurdles in profession. Interesting thing is Guru has good shadbala and gives 8 to his place in ashtavarga. Also, my wife goes through hardships often despite being capable (Mithuna Lagna). If I see D-60, it comes with Kalamsa for Guru. So I do feel there is some past karma that is responsible. I am doing regular remedies for grahas and yet I know it can't hoodwink destiny. But God gives me the ability to go through all this and become cheerful and face the life. I still commit mistakes. But I see light at the end of the tunnel and I am positive about the final release to his abode. I will welcome more scholarly input from you on these areas as it will help lot of aspiring students like me. with best regards, Balaji S. --- "Narasimha P.V.R.
