MOTHER'S DAY POEM

Have you ever known a woman of such charisma?

Have you ever known a woman of such compassion?

Have you ever known a woman so dedicated to her family and profession?

Yes, there was such a woman, a captivating lady of such grace.

A lady with all the love in the world to give.

A lady so kind, courageous and forgiving

A lady so honest and gentle.

She sacrificed her life for her family.

She asked for nothing in return.

She did not even withdraw a single cent of her salary from her bank

account.

She did seva and even invited the poorest of the poor to stay in her

house.

She wore simple clothes and ate enough to live.

You see, this woman of such admiration is no other than my very own

late mother.

My father have always been telling me stories about her.

Yes, I had been blessed in my childhood days to have such a rare find.

She departed on the 23rd of November 1992 to be with our Beloved

Swami

I was 3 years old then and since then it been a motherless day for me.

Her memory continues to inspire me till this day!

Happy Mother's Day !!
