AMARNATH YATRA FROM 11TH JUNE 2006

om namo bhagawate rudraya

 

the penultimate shiva pilgrimage in the world (ultimate being mount

kailash) the holy amarnath ice ling darshan is now declared officially

by the Jammu & Kashmir government to start from both Pahalgam and

Baltal routes from 11TH JUNE, 2006 lasting till the shravana poornima

day i.e. 9th august, 2006.  the registration for the same may start

later this month through J&K Bank but this registration process

details have not yet been announced. 

 

i would be visiting the shrine in either 1st or 2nd week of June.

ever since i visited amarnath shrine in 1993 for the first time, i

took a owe to visit it every year till my last breath and this year it

will be my 13th pilgrimage.  to help those shiv bhakts who are located

in farther places and could not make it due to various reasons, i have

decided for the first time to help them by reciting their details in

the sankalpam when i recite rudradhyaee and various other shiva

stotrams in the holy abode after which i offer bilva patrams to the

holy amarnath ice ling. no proper poojas by devotees are allowed there

due to security reasons and heavy rush and we can only give our

offerings ONCE but can sit there in the holy abode and recite various

mantras and stotrams but the ground is icecold with ice water dropping

from the cavetop and only true shiv bhakts can stay there within the

holy cave for long.  to seek the blessings of lord amarnath with this

service and also for offering any nominal dakshina, interested shiv

bhakts may contact on my personal ID panditarjun2004 .

Dear Arjunji,

You are a very lucky, lucky,lucky guy. This is really amazing that you are going on this pilgrimage every year. This is all due to Grace of Divine Lord. Take some good picture and if possible post them in group. I will save them on my PC.

And how are you going to remain in contact with this group???

Some years back a relations of ours sent a picture of Shri Bhagvanji in His Icy Abode. It was published in a Delhi newspaper. It was a large newspaper photo and I kept it on my table in living room. I was not doing any prayers or anything else to it. Then one day my mother gave me a twenty pound note to buy something. Somehow or other she put this directly on the picture. I did not pick this note and after some moments in time this thing flashed in my mind that Shri Thakurji has accepted this note now.

I felt very blessed and later on gave that gift in the Temple in Varanasi.

dear shiv bhakt vijay ji

om namo bhagawate rudraya

 

lord shiva is truly bhola shankar.  darshan of lord amarnath has

changed the lives of countless shivbhakts who all have miracle

stories to share.

 

it has been my personal experience that unless and until lord shiva

wish, a devotee cannot complete his pilgrimage and have a darshan of

the shivling.  every year thousands of devotees return from base

camps or half way due to various miraculous reasons.

 

in the initial seven years i used to take lot of photographs and

have hundreds of them but since last six years stopped taking any

photos and was immersed in the mere joy of having a darshan of the

amarnathji.

 

however, to enable shiv bhakts to have a darshan of the latest

amarnath shrine and the enroute, next month i will take photographs

and post the same in the group.

 

some time in 1st week of june, i shall be going and will miss the

group but there are so many shiv bhakts who are contributing greatly

and group owner prasanna ji will take care of moderation during that

week.
