Graha / Beej mantra (Ishta Devta Calculation)

~ Om Namah Shivaya ~

 

Dear Surya

 

First a request to you. "Ji" is not required with my

name, as I am just a learner / student here. Now the

method for finding Ishta Devta. First see what is your

AK. Now see the placement of AK in Navamasa, it is

called karakamansa. Now see the 12th house from it,

and see the planets in 12th house. if only one planet

is there, the associated diety of that planet will

become your Ishta Devta, If more than one planets are

there, then determine the strongest among them, and

deity associated with it will become Ishta Devta.

 

If there are no planets in 12th from Karakamasa, see

the second from Karakamasa and apply the above rules,

if there are none is second, the lord of 12th from

karakamasa reperents your diety for Ishta Devta.

 

I dont' have co-ordinates (long, lang) for Chirali,

Kindly let me know so that I can determine your Ishta

Devta.

Hello Neeraj,

 

I have made amendments on the first account. (I felt

it was the norm since everyone called me surya ji :))

 

Coordinates of chirala : 80E21, 15N49 ...

Who would be Dharma devata Neeraj?

 

it might sound strange.. but I can picture lord

Please would you tell me the meanings and/or derivations of the words "hreem" and "shreem". I can't find them in any Sanskrit dictionaries! Thank you.

 

I would also be grateful if you could tell me the meanings of the other words in "Om Aim Hrim Klim Camundayai Vicce".
