dear esteemed members, namaste.

i am sorry i was away for a pretty long time and could never manage the time to

devote to the list. unfortunately, my board exam is coming closer [may 2004]

and after feb 2004 i might be totally unavailable for any discussion until june

2004. however i will be reading the posts and be aware of any indisciple etc. -

as a moderator i will be doing my duty always.

after june 2004 i am really free for about 6/7/8 months i guess, and gor gods

will if i have net there in home like now, i wish to do some serious study and

research and devote 5/6/7 hrs a day into jyotish. this 'serious research' means

serious as per ME though :-)

i wish to compile some of my writing into this list as a form of articles which

i wish to place in my website for any one can access them anytime rather than

searching the archieve. today i have compiled the article on kuja dosha as it

was in this list, and put it in my site. my astro site runs out of bandwidth

sometimes [ :-) ] so i have chosen a different server for the articles.

however the pages on the new server will be linked from my now-existing website

so there is nothing to worry.

i thank the members for keeping the list alive while i wasnt present here.

i have a lot of pending charts here in the list say the chart by mr. tushar

[balanced chart] an interesting one. i will proceed with them 1 by 1.

on the other hand i have around 50/60 pending charts in private and also arounf

7/8 charts by my friends and relatives...

same time i wish to write an interesting post on the topic, "does 2nd house

alone make ppl rich?" i hope u will enjoy it. i also wish to compile it as a

website article little later.

besides this, i am very interested to do some studies on narayana dasa. while

absent from the list i was wondering that i need some other dasa besides

vimsottari to cross check events like marriage etc., what ppl are really

interested to know :-)

i have heard narayana dasa of d9 charts for marriage but 95% of the charts are

not rectified to consider d9 lagna. also rectifying is a lengthy and time

consuming process. so i am looking for some short-cut [narayana dasa of rasi

chart for marriage, i mean].

i have seen 3/4 charts in this regard and i have seen that many of the times it

includes the signs which are aspect by the dara karaka by sign aspect. but not

the sign of dara karaka position, itself. well this might be a co-incidence, i

wish to do some studies later and tell you what i see.

best wishes,

tanvir

So far we have seen does 2nd house alone make ppl rich? we can go on

discuss about it.

About one Daridhra yoga by the placement of the lord of the 9th house in

the 12th house, some of us are not satisfied. Really what is the effect of it,

we all know very well, the lord of the 9th house is for our assets such as we

get from our ancestors, our immovable properties, name and fame and mainly for

us to escape from the danger it helps magically.

Well even when the lord of the 9th house is in the 12th house one would

have got the ancestral properties due to the virtue of Ketu in the 11th house.

The native can still have the immovable properties by the strength of the 4th

house or Mars. Likewise there are many factors.

One can easliy say the native can go to abroad when the lord of the 9th

house is in 12th house, but the earlier literature of astrology mentions this

as equivalent to exilement, means the King sends them to abroad as a

punishment. I have read from the magazines of India, the astrologers mentioned

that in the olden days if the native has this kind of arrangement (the lord of

the 9th house in the 12th house) the girls father may not give his daugther to

marry to that native. In modern times we know the things have changed.

But still I feel the lord of the 9th house should not be in the 12th house

(to some extent Mars debilitated in the case of Leo ascendnat because being a

Bhada kesh it can be okay) because there are some benefits the native may lose.

But again depends on the other Trikona lords if they are enough dignified then

it is okay or else it is bad.

It is not good to say only the bad things without mentioning the remedies.

At one or the other times it is better to do remedy for that 9th house lord to

get good results.

So far I wrote a few articles in a way about Dhana Yoga. Okay if a native is

finding no way the Dhana yoga is powerful or even if the dhana yoga is powerful

followed by expenditure is more what to do? I wish to suggest a remedy with the

grace of Goddess Lakshmi, please chant the mantras of Lakshmi (Lakshmi

astothram). This can help to have a convenient and comfortable life.

Yours sincerely

A. Ramani.
