As per ancient texts venus in the 7th house create sukra dosh which means problem for venus .. its occurence is highly damaging for marriage ..it impacts negatively on on the income of family especially one having this placement cannot get peace in married life, and although separation is not certain for any continious 7 weeks one will not have peacefull time. due to whatever reason perhaps financial or hurtful words or one's binding attachment to a releative or friend , the husband and wife will have hot exchanges . if venus is alone , you and your spouse will sureley be honest with each other but financial difficulties will always give you pain .only if the 4th house or the ascendant is strong will the situation change and one will have good domestic life or have good luck in marriage . It's also important to consider the houses ruled by Venus and planets occupying those houses...all these things influence the nature of Venus. The dosha you refer to (Sukra dosha) is due to the karaka for 7th occupying 7th. We find similar difficulties in relationship with children when Jupiter occupies 5th, and with elder siblings when he occupies 11th. Mars occupying 3rd is also detrimental for the relationship with younger siblings, and so forth... Guest guest Report post Posted January 5, 2006 PS: The chart of Princess Diana is one example that immediately comes to mind and, although Jupiter was aspecting Venus in 7th, we have to bear in mind that Venus is a F/M in this chart and that debilitated Jupiter is conjunct Saturn in 3rd house (a trishadaya). Certainly the aspect of strong 12th lord, from 7th, brought a lot of suffering through the men in her life. And with Venus' nakshatra lord occupying 8th house (along with 8th lord) her marriage was doomed to failure. You might like to consider the aspects/conjunctions etc, in the chart you put forward, and share your findings with us... ________________________________ Dear P.
