The co-ordinates are slightly different according to www.astro.ch, although this

doesn't affect the Chart much at all.

 

Using System's Approach -

 

The Lagna is non-MT (non-Moolatriona) so the Sun becomes Karaka (Significator)

for Self. Here, the Sun also happens to be the MMP (Most Malefic Planet) as it

is the Lord of the 8th MT House (Leo). The rising Degree of this Chart is about

23*16 - this becomes the MEP (Most Effective Point) of ALL the Houses - any

Planet conjuct or aspecting within 5 Degrees (so 18*16 to 28*16) either side of

this Degree of any House will have a significant impact on that House.

 

Here, the 8th Lord of [Obstructions/Humiliations/Accidents/Longevity/Marital

Tie/Sudden Gains/Occultism] is afflicting the 1st MEP by occupation and the 7th

MEP by 7th-aspect - as the Sun is a Royal Planet, and is Karaka for Self, and

the Lagna is Capricorn (Earth Sign), it may indicate a Materialistic person -

while the Negative factors of the 8th House come to this Person, so do the

Positive ones, as Sun is in reasonable Strength to protects its Own and Leo's

significations - Father may also be close to the Native. She could also have

good organisational Powers, and be interested in Occult subjects, e.g.

Astrology.

 

2nd Lord of [Wealth/Family/Status] is FB (Functional Benefic) Saturn - who is

badly placed on the 8th MEP - however, Saturn's 7th-aspect on its Own 2nd MEP

helps enhance the 2nd House significations to an extent. Wealth may come

through Marital Tie or Inheritance, and is subject to Obstructions. Saturn also

3rd-aspects the 10th MEP of [Career/Rise in Life] and 10th-aspects the 5th MEP

of [Children/Romance/Higher Learning/Speculations]. Saturn is afforded some

help by the exact 8th-aspect of Exalted 4th Lord Mars, but not much as Mars

itself is weak in some ways (see below).

 

4th Lord of [Domestic Happiness/Fixed Assets/Home/Vehicles/Mother] is Mars,

which is Exalted on the 1st MEP, and also 4th-aspects its own 4th MEP of Aries,

which protects the 4th Significations. Mars furhter 7th-aspects the 7th-MEP of

[spouse/Foreign Travels/Business Partnerships] as well as the 8th MEP. Mother

may be close to Native. The weakness of Mars is in its Combustion with MMP Sun.

 

7th Lord is Moon, which is well placed and Bright in the 5th House, but is in

Infancy. Marriage through own Choice could be an outcome of this placement of

7th Lord. Moon is also Exalted as it is in Taurus, which bodes well for the

Mother.

 

9th Lord of [Father/Guru/Fortune/Short Trips] is Mercury, which again is on the

1st MEP and aspects the 7th MEP. Native could travel a lot. As Sun is also on

1st MEP along with Mercury and Mars, Father should be very close to Native.

10th Lord is Venus, which is badly placed in the 12th House of [Losses/Foreign

Residence/Bed Pleasures] - Venus is furhter weakened as its Dispositor (Jupiter)

is itself Disposited by weak Infant Moon. Status could be better perhaps in

Foreign Lands.

 

12th Lord is FM (Functional Malefic) Jupiter, which has a weak (Exalted)

Dispositor of Moon, but is in its Sign of Exaltation (Cancer) and causes no

afflictions. Although it is away from the MEP of the 7th House, it could

suggest Marriage abroad or to a Foreigner (12th Lord in 7th).

 

The real Problem in this Chart - Rahu and Ketu closely afflict the MEPs of all

the Even-Numbered Houses, and therefore indirectly harm the Planets who Lord

these Houses. They are also debilitated in the Navamsa Chart.

 

Ketu afflicts the 2nd MEP, the 6th MEP of [Financial

Solvency/Litigation/Disputes/illness], the 8th MEP and the 10th MEP.

 

Rahu afflicts the 8th MEP, the 12th MEP, the 2nd MEP and the 4th MEP - all

Marriage Houses.

 

 

Current Dasa-Bhukti - the Native is in the troublesome Rahu-Rahu Sub-Period

since Septemeber-1998, hence the afflictions to the 8th/12th/2nd/4th Houses will

be heightened until Rahu-Jupiter which is from May-2001. This Period may see

Marriage as - Jupiter is the 12th Marriage Lord in the 7th House of Spouse,

whilst Rahu influences the 8th MEP of Marital Tie, the 12th MEP of Bed

Pleasures, the 2nd MEP of Married Family and the 4th MEP of Marital Happiness.

Jupiter is also Karaka for Husband.

 

 

Current Transits -

 

FB Saturn is well placed in Transit in the 5th House, passing over Natal Moon (2

Marriage Lords connecting in the House of Romance). However, FM Jupiter is also

passing over Natal Moon which may cause obstructions to 7th Matters/Mother until

Early-March 2001.

 

Transit Rahu is Stationary on the 6th MEP, while also afflicting the 10th, 12th

and 2nd MEPs as well as Natal Ketu. Correspondingly, Transit Ketu is Stationary

on the 12th MEP, while afflicting the 4th, 6th and 8th MEPs as well as Natal

Rahu and Natal Saturn! These afflictions will be over between March and May

2001, though.

 

Solutions - propitiate the Sun (which will ease pressure on Mars and Mercury),

Rahu and Ketu - and strengthen Moon (which will help Jupiter), Saturn and Venus.
