Guest guest
Dear List, I have found some pretty incredible results for past events in my life using Vimsottari Dasa reckoned from LAGNA DEGREE, instead of from Natal Moon. Mu'min was the one to put me on to this when he analysed my chart back in 1999, but I was a bit daunted by switching between Moon and Lagna dasas - so I stuck with Moon. Recently, I have picked up on LD again. Has anyone else found for THEIR OWN chart that past events/significant dates have been explained better through Lagna Dasa, rather than Moon Dasa? Guest guest
Dear Sateesh, Pt. Sanjay teaches us to see Vimsottari from either moon or lagna, which ever is stronger. The way to do that is count the number of planets in quadrants for moon and lagna and go with the one that has the higher number. If they are equally strong (eg, both moon and lagna are in quadrants), moon becomes the winner. Even if moon is the winner, you can still compute the dasa from both moon and lagna. Each will show events according to its strength. -Siva. gjlist, "Sateesh Batas" <makara@n...> wrote: > Dear List, > > I have found some pretty incredible results for past events in my life using Vimsottari Dasa reckoned from LAGNA DEGREE, instead of from Natal Moon. > > Mu'min was the one to put me on to this when he analysed my chart back in 1999, but I was a bit daunted by switching between Moon and Lagna dasas - so I stuck with Moon. Guest guest
Dear Siva, Thanks for this - I recall this teaching from Sanjay back in 1999 - as my Moon is IN Lagna, both sets of Dasas BOTH seem to give apt results - the difference being LD gives FEWER but more EXACT results - whereas MD gives MORE hits/events but not as "specific" as LD's. e.g. For LD, I had MAJOR turning points in life when - Ju-Ju-Ju-Ju started, when Ju-Sa-Sa-Sa started, when Ju-Me-Me-Me started, etc. - but for "lesser" events Moon Dasa only worked, Sateesh. ======== - "schinnas" <schinnas <gjlist> Thursday, October 17, 2002 1:29 AM [GJ] Re: Lagna Dasa : Dear Sateesh, : Pt. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya, Dear Nicholas, Lagna Tara is sister dasha of Vimshotari. It is pereferably used when there is a graha in each kendra. However, more accurate and useful is Moola dasha of which Saravali spoken. Moola dasha is actually Lagna Kendradi dasha. Both dashas include all grahas, Moola means "root". It shows the root of bad/good karma. Pt. Sanjay Rath edited a book on Vimshotari and Udu dashas, where he explained their use in detail. Best wishes Zoran P.S. I will answer all private querries (to all), just to clear up my inbox. It has been flooded these days:), So please be patient a little.
