I don't think you will get any arguments in principal with this idea of

calculating the dashas from the lagna. However, you must be aware of the time

sensitivity and the need of a very accurate birth time. Also remember the lagna

shows the physical body and the Moon the mind. As Buddha said- all is mind. As

Jesus said- as thou think so thou shalt be. The dasha's calculated from the

lagna may well be a good way to obseve trends relating to the physical body. I

trust others before us have been well and truly over this and concluded the

Moon calculated Dashas offer the best results overall.

 

Mu Min Bey is the only person I know who actually publically promotes this

technique regularily. His research validates it to him which is well and good.

I have no problem with this idea if an accurate time of birth is known.

 

Another interesting but seldom used technique is to progress all the planets

like the Moon in vimshottari. My Pundit did some interesting research on this

and I have the print-outs of the charts of all the timing for doing this

depending where the natal planet is located. As I said in an earlier posting,

these are interesting things to investigate in terms of an intellectual study.

What can be used in a realistic reading is something else......
