Guest guest
Hi, There is some method they use in Europe that can show the exact day that you ovulate and shows the fertile days and non fertile days. Im not sure but I think that you test your mucus, although you may use urine. Anyway, I do know that there is this method available sorry that I do not have details, but I have friends from Europe that have used this method and loved it. On the fertile days then you just use "other stuff" and on the infertile days you are clear. Good luck, donna --- kasi_visvanath wrote: > gjlist, "Theresa Laehn - MacDonald" > <Theresa@B...> wrote: > > Hello All, > birth control > methods > > based on tracking the astrology? > > I am a new member to the list and am just starting > to wet my toes > with Vedic > > Astrology. Guest guest
Dear Theresa, the german booktitle of the mucusmethode is:"Natürliche Empfängnisregelung" Author: Prof. Dr. Josef Rötzer, Verlag: Herder,Freiburg, ISBN 3-451-23983-3 It bases on the woman`s morning temperature and on the carefully observing of changing mucus. This method could be recommended to very disciplined couples. For my opinion it is not always possible to differenciate between sexuality and fertility. So, if a chart indicates children or even many children, be sure: these children will come! They will trick all birthcontrol methods of the world and will at all risk! find their way to their parents. So you will even find pregnancy with sterilized parents, Ovulationday may change to the 6th, two ovulations may be possible too in the same month, etc. Will mean: birthcontrol will work, if for a certain time there are no indications for children; but will fail, if children are highly inducated. (I´m speaking of my own lucky experience and of numerous cases seen in my practice.) Best wishes, Ilona
Guest guest
Dear THeresa, yes there is quite an accurate method for determining when ovulation occurs. When the SUn and Moon are in the same phase as the birth SUn and Moon ovulation occurs. Intercourse within 5 days of this can possbile result in pregnancy, intercourse at other times is "safe." This method has been tested at over 98% accuracy. WIth woman having serious hormonal imbalances it is best to double check by measuring the core temparature to verify that they are running normal. Guest guest
Dear Ernst. Could you elaborate on the term "phase" used? Maybe give an example? Guest guest
Thank you Ernst, I may have misrepresented the Jonas method, not on purpose (apologies to the good doctor). It was ages ago that I first heard of it. Your explanation of the phase is excellent! Thank you for your contribution. Best wishes, Carol
Guest guest
Dear Visti, "phase" means the degree that the Moon is from the Sun, say, for instance the Sun is at 10 Aries, and the Moon is at 20 Aquarius, it is 310 degrees from ths SUn to the Moon, whenever the transit Moon is 310 degrees from the transit Sun, ovulation occurs. An easy way of saying it is, when the tithi is the same as the birth in the same paksha, ovulation occurs. This gives just one period of fertilit a month, the Jonas method that some one else mentioned doesn't appear congruent. I have taken conception charts in cases where those where recorded, and the Sun-Moon phase was always similar to that as the woman horoscope. A minimum of 100 cases would have to be studied for a period over many months to say a thing like that and it amazes me that an astrologer could get such statistics. This is not a challenge, but a request for information as to how the study was conducted. regards Mani
Guest guest
Dear Mani, There was a book written on natural birth control, I don't recall the title, a student of mine loaned it to me years ago. THey had conducted extenisve research on many methods of birth control, the astrological method was one, and it was either the most successful , or one of the most successful methods, they tested hundreds of couples. I will look into finding the title of the book. Guest guest
Dear List members I have been told that the astrology program I am currently using, Kala, will be coming out with an updated edition that will include an option to calculate fertility, so maybe this will be a productive testing ground of the methods that have been discussed here on the list. take care Marcia (ps.Das, please do not be offended to the mention of another program on your email list..........no offense is intended!)
