Guest guest Posted July 9, 2000 Report Share Posted July 9, 2000 As we move "forward" -- on the whole, fundamentalism seems to be rising and become stronger, and not just in established religions, but in the little pockets and branches started by all the "new" sons and daughters of God. What is the astrological reasoning/explanation behind this? Is it possible to look at these trends with traditional planets with periods as short as 29.5 years or less or even with the 60-yr jovian cycle? Are there longer cycles prescribed in jyotish that may be utilized to study nations, cultures, religions etc.? Cycles longer than vimshottari, etc.?
