<< The Lord made me and some others simply to do this, and so I

have to do it. It's not my choice to be in this position, rather, it has

do it out of duty.

Das, I love to read everything you write. I really mean it.

>>I am not happy being in this position. It's not a

happy position to be in, or I mean, this is not enjoyable. It's a

difficulty-causing duty. >>

Well, I think I can relate.

But one thing I want to ask you, and this is a genuine and fully

well-intentioned question: Why are you so hung up on what everybody's eating?

It's not that this isn't important, and I want to share with you that I

actually quit eating meat after reading you ( it's a weird story, I'll tell

it one day when there's less going on here), but --

If we are *not* the physical body, and we're all just skinbags and so forth,

what difference does it make if we eat sugared coated woodpulp or not? Why,

on the other hand, if food is important spiritually, would we look at a

starving nation that's been eating warehoused Unimix and cholera water for

the past twenty years and think these people, who are eating just as badly,

are spiritually pure, or at least sinless?

To me, food isn't spiritual, it's political, if it's anything. Meat, I can

see as a sort of grisly thing to ingest, especially if there's something else

in the fridge. But how are rotten diets and fat people relevant? Isn't a

focus on this, fatness and wellness and anti-aging and all that -- ego based?

It's practically all that TV is selling these days, and I know you hate TV. I

really am curious about this.

Thanks.

Please share this freely so long as you include it wholly, both parts,

as there are two main parts, the first establishing the Tropical Zodiac

using Atheism towards Veda, and the second explaining why that world

view is false.

Introduction

------------

I can give an argument on behalf of the Tropical Zodiac. This just

popped into my head, and I don't personally believe it, but some Western

brains might come up with it. The key point in it would be to notice the

destruction of the Vedic claim to revelation. This theory reduces the

Vedic Spiritual knowledge to myth. That's why I wouldn't accept this

theory, otherwise it would hold water as something to consider.

Argument on behalf of the Tropical Zodiac, by Das Goravani

-------------------------

When the Zodiacs aligned 2000 years ago roughly, Western Astrology was

in the awareness of Western brains due to discovery alone. This was

shared into India, who adopted it to suit their own version. They made

Vedic out of what they got from the West. The spiritual links were added

to fit the myth of the day in that land.

The planets reflect the Sun's light, so it is the relationship of the

Sun to Earth at any given time which determines the nature of the rest

of the Zodiac because it will be the angles of the reflected light from

the planets which determines their "sign". It was only convenience that

assigned the constellations their "effects". So the star constellations

were created just as a convenience. It is not the constellations which

determine the "sign" and "effects of the sign" but rather, the angle of

the planet in relation to the Sun/Earth relationship.

Therefore, as the Earth tilts, the Sun/Earth relationship moves against

the starry backdrop, and thus the "signs" must be seen to move to, and

we've therefore lost the convenience of the original constellations, but

no matter, we have computers and hand calculations to refigure the

current position of the "real" zodiac (which would then be the Tropical Zodiac).

Therefore, the Siderealists are making the mistake of sticking with the

original convenience only star backdrop or constellational zodiac, and

are thus missing the real point. Thus thinking that the Stars are the

power center, they are wrong, because it's the reflected light angle,

and how that hits the Sun/Earth relationship. This is so because they

are reflecting Sunlight alone. Their own light is too dim to be of

effect. And the stars? They are too far away to be of heavy impact as

well. Only the planets in our solar system, reflecting SUNlight matter,

and they matter only in their current relationship to the Sun/Earth

relationship in terms of solstices and so forth.

Why the above argument is bad for us all, and thus false.

------------------------

So this theory would be plausible to me except that I really believe

that Divinity is personal, can reveal itself, and has, and has taught us

the way, and that way came long before the last alignment, as per the

handed down teachings, and therefore Jyotish came before Western

Astrology, and therefore was not borrowed at a time when the

Constellations could be discounted a mere coincidence and thus a

convenience.

The Western mindset can however more easily accept the above theory

because it is essentially anti-Vedic in it's ways of thought. Therefore

there has been so much conquering combined with ignoring of Ancient

wisdom's, as was earlier pointed out.

Jupiter and Saturn teach the Submission to Guru principle. The inner

planets like Venus and Mercury teach diplomacy with non commitment, and

attachment to opulent survival at any price, including removing

submission to old traditions. Therefore Jupiter and Venus are at odds.

The West, with it's cavalier self righteousness, is all too willing to

believe that the Vedic version is impossible. This is summarized in

Vedic thought as the mood of the Asuras. Venus is the Asura Guru. The

west is clearly more Venusian in their approach to life. Veda teaches

that this world offers illusion, and the Asuras are always ascribed as

being devotees of illusion in the scriptures. So the Western view which

discounts the Vedic version is illusory in nature, sending the soul away

from Devotion to Divinity and towards a greater false self image, which

is maya or illusion in Vedic terms.

This world is supposed to be capable, according to Veda, of holding the

soul in illusion, and thus checking the souls spiritual progress. This

world is created in order to support an illusion towards life. Hence,

very few people are truly spiritual in their outlook. Most are doubting

of a fully powerful Divinity, and giving little head to that place

therefore, most of us live lives based on mundane view of ourselves as

our temporary bodies, though in fact they die shortly, and therefore if

we are souls, we are certainly not our bodies. So we live in an illusory

nature constantly, basically.

So it follows, if the Vedas are right, that the common view which

discounts them, is an illusion. Any view which destroys the Supreme

Position of the revealed knowledge of the Vedas, Puranas, etc., is then

an illusion, which takes the soul away from the truth.

Since the Vedas teach that this is Kali Yuga, and they ascribe the

characteristic of "widespread ignorance" to this age, it follows that

the dominant understanding will be the wrong one. Hence, we find in the

West, which is much more distant from the Vedic understandings, that a

form of astrology is ingrained which is anti-Vedic, and therefore false

in Vedic terms.

To anyone Vedic, in other words, everything is going as planned.

Ignorance is high in the Mlecha Desh (lands of the meat eating peoples),

and they have false versions of the sciences, including a medical system

which treats mainly symptoms and ignores core issues such as diet, and

easily available medicines found in herbs, and instead teaches people

it's OK to eat anything, and just treat symptoms, and which focuses on

the comfort of the individual, rather than encouraging the austerities

required to actually be healthy, and which in turn allows a few

individuals to make false chemical based drugs, which are created

through an intense amount of refinement of natural elements (Venus rules

refinement in general), and these "medicines" are generally just symptom

'treaters', and these rascals charge a ton to all the people's of the

West, who are thus led by their "Doctors" to a worse and worse condition

of health, lifestyle and robbed unnecessarily of their funds for

overpriced chemical medicines. This is the land of the Asuras to be certain.

Anyone with their eyes open can see that there was the world, then

Christ was born, which gave Romans headed by St. Paul, who never met

Christ, the self granted privilege of conquering all other peoples,

including the White people in Northern Europe, and forcing their

"religion" and world view onto them. This spread strongly, because it's

Kali Yuga, and now we have the Roman Alphabet everywhere, Latin names

used for most things legal and regal, and so on. Christianity is the

foundation of Islam, another conquering religious force. And that's

where we stand in the West. The West is essentially nothing more than an

aging Christian Crusade against everything that existed before it,

including nature itself, with little to no regard for it still, to wit,

the words of "Christian" leader Pat Robertson yesterday on TV, saying

"Oriental Religions are all false", and at the Republican convention

last time, he was at the microphone saying "Only Judeo-Christian persons

should be elected to office in America".

So you see, the bigotry continues. This is anti-Vedic. It is not a

secret that Christian leaders of all types do NOT accept Veda as

Scripture, and therefore deny any recognition of the Vedic path as

authentic. Most people in the west quietly go along with this bogus

world view due to ignorance of the Vedic perfection in all matters.

This is supporting evidence of the falsehood of the entire Western

mindset, at least as far as anyone Vedic is concerned.

Therefore, on this list, as everywhere in and around Jyotish in the

West, there are persons here to actually submit, think Vedic, believe

what the books say, and learn by submission in the proper Vedic way.

Then there are those who are here because they heard it works, but their

world view is essentially still Christian or Western in it's basis, and

they hold fast to those world views, and thus quietly condone the

defacing of the Vedic authority. They are here to take, and think that

the Spiritual parts of the Vedic literature's are myths.

To those of us who understand the all pure message of the Ripened Vedic

Knowledge found in the authors final and best works, which are totally

Theistic in foundation, and we who are attached to the Spiritual View of

life they teach, give strong foundation to, and obviously ascribe to, to

those of us who think in that way, it is wholly unacceptable to write

them off as the myths of the ancient peoples of India. They simply work

too well- the whole thing- Spiritual and Material sides of the Vedas, to

be written off in this way.

For example, Ayurveda is so right-on. Jyotish is so right-on. Yoga is so

right-on. These things support the human beings REAL life structure,

physically, mentally, emotionally, materially, spiritually, everything.

And the Vedic way fully takes care of the environment. It's wholly

natural. Therefore greater restraint and austerity is required, and

therefore it's not attractive to the now lazy average Western person.

On the other hand, the West is sinking more deeply into the quagmire of

the reactions to their misguided ways. Everyone is fat and sick, and our

poisons don't work against the enemies of our weakened immune systems,

the doctors charge too much and only treat symptoms, as if they miss the

real interest of the organism itself altogether. Ignorance is

widespread. People are unable to understand their bodies or their

environment and thus destroy both as if it's normal. Can you not see the

falsity of the Western Mindset?

Vedas taught thousands of years ago that all of this would happen in

this age, and so it is.

As more and more people experience the real Vedic way in this current

society and life, realization of the efficacy of the original WHOLE

system will become more apparent. If however it gets watered down to fit

current Western social trends, it will become lifeless and ineffectual,

because it will be essentially stripped of power due to the attachments

to self grandeur which is the foundation of Western civilization overall.

This is why the above theory is incorrect. Because it's based on a

selfish mentality, which ignores the God of the Vedic revelation, which

therefore ignores the finest possible understanding of our Divine

Natures available to us, and thus it is wrong. A further proof of this

is that it comes from the thinkers who are full participants in the ways

of faithless nations, who find the acceptance of their Atheistic views

strongest in such misled places, who are rapidly destroying Mother

Earth, and themselves, through their selfish ignorant ways.

So you decide, which you believe. They are at odds, and that's why it's

not easy to be a follower of Veda in the West at this time. It's lonely.

Take it from me. I'm "surrounded" mainly, nearly only, by the anti-Vedic

mindset. True, they know not what they do. That doesn't make it easier

to take.

On the other hand, as with any true Vedic disciple, I turn away and

think: "It's all up to you Lord, you put me here, so I dance as you

wish". This is the main teaching of the Gita.

I hope I'm clear enough.

I do not mean to offend, nor put down anyone or any country actually,

none of that, but rather, my sole intent is to clearly and unequivocally

pronounce the Vedic version to anyone who might be interested since I

know from direct experience that it is not being pronounced clearly to

everyone yet, and therefore, they have no chance to get out of

ignorance. The Lord made me and some others simply to do this, and so I

have to do it. It's not my choice to be in this position, rather, it has

been forced upon me by the Lord, through the experiences of my life. I

do it out of duty. I am not happy being in this position. It's not a

happy position to be in, or I mean, this is not enjoyable. It's a

difficulty-causing duty.

Thanks for listening,

Das Goravani
